Hey Tee. Ramble on, friend! Even your ramblings they were poignant, powerful, and, as much pain and worry you’ve gone through, I found them uplifting. I admire that strength. I had no idea I would love Bocchi the Rock when I started watching it as it aired. Hitori Gotoh quickly became someone I wanted to root for, not because she was Protag-chan, but she was deserving of it! And seeing each two-steps forward one step back became a cause for celebration. As far as your challenge: I LOVE being a DM. I taught my kids to play TTRPGs, my friends, their friends, and now some adults. I absolutely love creating the worlds for them to inhabit, and maybe find something about themselves in. I love the acting challenges of improvised NPC interactions. I love calling for initiative. I love table chatter. Being a DM fills me with so much joy I can barely contain myself sometimes. Is every session a nail biter, edge of your seat affair? No. Are there some days I cheat my players by not giving my all? Yes. But dammit, I love being a DM. That said, I’d like to extend an open invite to my table for a one shot, Tee.

Off the top of my head, the shows that come to mind when I think of dramatic art style shifts to convey tone are One Punch Man (usually preceding a spectacularly animated obliteration) and classic Spongebob, when they used to do the hyper detailed still frames throughout certain gags/jokes. (Also it's super good to see you back and still determinedly working your way through the absolute shitstorm that life has decided top rain upon you. I have all the confidence in the world that you can and will overcome it. I genuinely believe that you have the power to forge a will so strong that your demons' teeth will shatter upon it.)

Sooooo happy to see you back! Episode 3 was the point that I fell in love with this anime so I was really looking forward to this. It's just incredibly fun all the way through, so be sure to look out for the other episode (11) that Yusuke Yamamoto directed (he's also the assistant director).
