The moon hung low in the sky as Mason and Aubrey strolled down the dimly lit Halloween-decorated streets, the laughter of children and the rustle of leaves filling the night air. Tiny ghosts and witches roamed the sidewalks, their excited voices carrying through the crisp autumn breeze.
