I personally never liked HxH for a few reasons, mainly because it was never finished but also because the main group never stays together outside of the first arc. Either way, I hope you like it.

Yeah I've said this in a previous post about how many anime's he is reacting to and painfully slow it is to finish them out because we get 1 episode every week of some or 1 every 2 weeks since he's reacting to 10 plus instead of around 3 to 5 which I think would be much better for us and him.

which I totally sympathize with his work load and i'm so happy he decided to start hunter x hunter but sad that he keeps adding stuff but he hasn't finished anything its just gonna take longer and more confusion now.

There are 2 versions of this anime. I recommend you watch the HxH 1999 version until it ends and then switch to 2011. I personally think the 1999 version captures characters better and is more dark and serious, while the 2011 version is more kid friendly, it's become more of a kid show. They really lost the dark nature of Killua in it

Stick to the 2011 version, the sub is better than the dub, and I am very much excited to watch your reaction to this series! Literally my favorite anime, and the fact I am able to relive it with you is so fire!!!
