I have watched this episode several times... This is the second time I'm watching your reaction... And I just now caught that each time Deku has been brainwashed he has seen/ interacted with his vestiges. That's damn cool because he's basically chillin in his sunken place with his vestiges. Like his soul has been locked in his body just like the vestiges are.

The subtitles when Pony is speaking is a joke that doesn't work in the dub because her gimmick is that she is a transfer student from America so in the sub she talks broken japanese with an american accent and english words mixed in, so it doesn't work in the dub when everyone is already speaking english
