it sounds like a cop out rn, but as of recent developments in the anime and whats been in the manga for timeeee now it makes sense. SPOILERS BELOW IF YOUR NOT CAUGHT UP but yes one for all has a will of its own so to speak. All might has made mistakes like this b4 its intentional writing

When all might was discussing the transfer of one for all, the way it showed Nana holding one for all in her hand. I interpreted as one for all was simply lending a hand

Spoilers for anybody who hasn't seen seasons 5 and 6. When Nine, the main villain, tried to steal Deku's quirk but failed then said "It seems this boy might have more than one quirk as well," that is foreshadowing.

Remember Almight said that one for all is WILLINGLY transfered through DNA. This includes blood as well. If u noticed Bakugo's finger had a cut which deku mixed his blood through Bakugo open cut.

Soooo dunno who claims the movies are canon, but man, they are definitely not XD none of this is ever mentioned again and some of the stuff that happens causes plotholes. It was still very very cool though

Well I’m super glad the kitty was killed. If you enjoyed this one, you’re gonna absolutely lose it for the next movie. ‘MHA: World Heroes’ Mission’ takes place between episode 113 and 114. That is my favourite anime movie to date.

@Black_fish You will be able to. In February/March Crunchyroll will be bringing the final 2 episodes of the Entertainment District Arc PLUS the 1hr long first episode of Season 3 to theatres in the U.S, and hopefully around the world too.

You have seen Edge Shot before, he was in the raid on the League of Villians bar in season 3. This might also not be factual, but I believe this movie was supposed to be the original ending for MHA but Horikoshi changed it and made this movie instead. I think Deku was going to die? I can't recall exactly. I saw the third movie in theaters definitely, and I think the first as well, but I think around the time the 2nd came out I had fallen off of MHA for a while so I missed it, which sucks, because IMO it's the best MHA movie.

you take the reactions so seriously and I love you for it, but if it adds extra stress, dont feel bad about relaxing a little bit, I know it matters for the youtube videos, but I know the patreon watchers got so used to watching you that we wouldnt care what mood you were in or how much you talked. We would still watch and love it.

This is probably my favorite anime movie. It gets me every single time. That final battle is for sure among the most epic fights of all time. The characters, the music, the setting, the animation, the stakes. It was all perfect. Glad you enjoyed it!

I loved this movie but as you said the ending really feels like a cop out. "bakugo must have lost consciousness before the transfer was complete" Where was that in the fight print haha also the fact the dekus and bakugos legs didnt get destroyed the second they used 100% and were able to keep running around. Still epic to see it animated

Deku transfering one for all to bakugo was the writers original ending to the show, he changed it tho

Spoilers for anyone who hasn’t seen the movie or his reaction yet. I think Deku knew he could transfer it to Bakugo. All Might said they need a bit of DNA to be transferred to the other host. In All Might’s case it was his hair, and I think in Deku’s case both boys had cuts on their fingers so blood could be transferred.

kinda dissapointing how they sorted it out with one for all in the end, i thought bakugo would be just like "i'll make it as number one hero with just my own power so take it back and show me what you got" but oh well i guess not which wouldve been such a bakugo moment and it'd make sense imo, id love to see a bit more of those other two villains but still overall amazing movie

Great reaction. Studio Bones went crazy with the animation for that whole final battle. You'll be safe to watch movie 3 "World Heroes Mission" after season 5 if you like. Interesting that you haven't seen the DragonBall Super: Broly movie. I'd be down to see a reaction to it at some point if you could squeeze it into your schedule. Also has some really good animation.

So yeah it sort of is a cop out to how he kept the quirk, but they kind of explain how its done later in the manga. I haven't caught up with the anime yet but it should be explained in season six.
