Also, the sword Aki is using is not the same as the nail he was using that is tied to his curse. The weapon he used against the Samurai demon in their first encounter, was a literal nail that was the length of a sword. The sword he has now is an actual sword.

My question for this episode: how far can Aki see into the future? The FD said a few seconds at a time, but Aki seemed to know where he was going: up the elevator to the fourth floor, he was able to dodge the bullet when that dude came out of the door, and he seemed to be expecting to see Sawatari at the end of the hallway. Did he say split up cuz he knew where to look and didn’t wanna put the others in danger? Or was it cuz he wanted revenge and he wanted to kill her himself? 🤔
