Curses are created from the negative emotions of humans (which is why the principal mentioned cursing his grandfather, as Yuji could very well do that if he harbored all of these negative emotions of regret towards his grandfathers last request by dying while trying to fulfill it.) I think a schedule keeps the fans more engaged cause this can look forward to their favorite anime if they know its coming, without a schedule people might just forget to check patreon for over a week cause they wont know what day its dropping.
