Maybe the dub is less grating for Americans, but for Midoriya to suddenly have an American accent is unbelievably awful to those of us across the pond. It's just so random. And his voice actor is nowhere near as good. The actor can't pitch it right (literally!). While some of the voice actors are okay in the dub, the truth is that every single one bar All Might is better in the original Japanese. The timing is also wrong in English - it was written for Japanese, and it's different. It's painful to watch. Shame, as I would have liked to watch these.
