Hello guys, here's this month's Feature animation from the Blender team! We decided on a POV angle for this one to really give you the experience from Cerene's point of view rather than adding in a bunch of angles that would have taken away from that. 

We posted the feature image set earlier this month to give a bit of background to what's going on exactly so make sure you check that out.  The animation here was done by Erotrickster with some tweaking from James - mainly slowing down the dips, hair animation and fixing clipping and other issues as well as adding some sculpted detail to Cerene's nipples. We then had Maxalo and Kyla jump in for the lighting and atmosphere. Audio was done by Mimi. We're still working on fluid simulations which is why we didn't quite get round to showing you one on this particular scene but we will in the future! 

All feedback is welcome. We're very happy with where Cerene is at on the Blender side and the Blender team is really coming together. Production on this animation was very smooth overall.

What bothers me the most is Furrow on her forehead, It is not major but she is so stressed out, It seems she is not willing to do it. (Cerene maybe taming her) It may be too large for her mouth but for her lower mouth would be fit. Besides that, Jill should be admired it before slowly putting it in her mouth and then sucking and blowing. After a while, Cerene is irritating and forces it to Deepthroat like this Animation with a more shocking expression on Jill's face.

Hi Dorio, thanks for feedback. We'll try and include a little more admiring of dicks in any future BJ animations but it tends to add quite a lot of work to the anim itself. Definitely agree it would be nice though. As for the furrowing of brow, not sure what you mean by her lower mouth but it's definitely because she's having a hard time getting her lips around that massive schlong! Can understand she feels a little under pressure ;) - James

Going to have to agree with the (negative) feedback on the forehead furrows. Because they are a constant factor, never changing, they wind up looking more like a bad prosthetics job than being something that the character is doing naturally in response to the situation. It like the old "how can you tell an alien is an alien?" on Star Trek: The Next Generation ... because they've got obvious prosthetics makeup on their forehead! If the frown lines in the forehead were intermittent, rather than constant, such that they would appear at the start of a new effort/first attempt and then disappear once that effort was successful, those lines in the forehead would have been a lot more expressive/meaningful than the constant annoyance/useless factor that they are in this release.

I think this is a very good start of making something that is really good. Personally I think it lacks the small touches and the personality. Like mentioned above, this could be Cerene taming a girl and teaching her to suck her cock. The girl seems unexperienced at this, so I would expect hearing her gag-reflex from time to time. Mascara drip is also something that will add very much to animations like this. This doesn't have to be animated and could just be something static to put on the model. A few lipstick marks on Cerene cocks will make us, the viewer, think about what might have been going on before the animation itself started. When Cerene puts her hand on the girls head it doesnt look like Cerene is really pulling her down. It looks like she is going down before while Cerene is just resting her hand on her head. Having Cerene add some force into the mix would fit her dommy-nature in general. I imagine Cerene could be using both of her hands to drag her down towards her hilt, keeping her still for a few seconds while the girl can only produce some gagging sounds. It's abit like they did in the older flash game called Super Deep Throat. That game was so ahead of its time when it came out. Don't get me wrong, its good so far. Would like to see a few touches to make it look less mechanical and more human so to speak. POV the other way around where Cerene looks sternly back at the viewer is not wrong either.

It appears that everything is a matter of looping a mere 2 depths of penetration (shallow and deeper). In retrospect, I would argue that such direction for the animation "ask" was insufficiently ambitious. Here is what was delivered for animation in this clip. Position 0 = minimum penetration Position 1 = medium penetration Position 2 = maximum penetration (slow) 02010201010102 (fast) 0101010102 (slow) 0102010101020102 (hand) (fast) 01010101010102 (hand) (slow) 0102020102 (hand) (fast) 010101 Now if that numbering sequence looks a bit repetitive to you, there's a reason for that … because it is. Due to the limited range of movement(s) available, there's only so much you can do before the action just becomes mechanical/repetitive. You've done a decent job of hiding that with the shallow/deep and slow/fast mixing, but it's still there. Adding additional depths of penetration into the mix would have helped this animation a lot. For example: Position A = minimum penetration (above 0) Position B = short penetration (above 0.5) Position C = medium penetration (above 1) Position D = long penetration (above 1.5) Position E = maximum penetration (above 2) With additional midpoints of depth along the stroke you would have been able to increase variability and provided more of a sense of progress in how the animation plays out that would have been more satisfying to see. If I take the exact same movement points as the animation provided, but add in the additional penetration depth points as options, here is what can be done using the exact same runtime cadence for positions as was used in this animation: (slow) ABACBDBEDECEAB (fast) ABACADAEBE (slow) ACBEBCACBDCEBCDE (hand) (fast) ACBCACBCBDCE (hand) (slow) ACAEBEACBE (hand) (fast) ACBDAC Adds a LOT more variability and doesn't feel quite so repetitive doesn't it? Since you're working with 5 depths of penetration instead of just 3 you've got more capacity to vary things just enough to prevent the end result from feeling too … mechanical. Even if you don't do a follow up fully rendered release utilizing this suggestion, I would still urge you to at least do a mock up/test low res animation test to examine and understand what the variability of depth changes I'm recommending here would do to this clip if animated so that everyone on the team can LEARN from how making some simple changes like this (adding more intermediate position options) can have a really big impact on the quality of the output.

Thanks for the comment however let me just remind you of the objectives of these short animations - 1. create a couple of simple loops that we add variation to. The goal is to keep them short and snappy. These are not full features. Even a 1 minute animation featuring a real dialogue between the two characters in which Cerene teaches the other character to suck or a blowjob with 5 different "positions" or what you referenced as depths of penetration, is a lot more work and not something we are focusing on atm (it involves animating the lips more, making sure the bj remains air tight, far more clipping checks, far more facial expressions etc) - we will for Bloodcrown. 2. Test out our animators in a relatively short period to make sure we have the best team for when we start full production on Bloodlust. I truly get what you're saying IBT, but - as I've repeatedly said, making these fully-fledged miniature features with a lot of variation (which is what you're suggesting) adds a lot more work. What you call 5 depths of penetration involves a lot more work in animation as it is a lot more variation. It's very quick to write that down but far more complex to implement, as I'm sure you're aware if you've done any animating yourself. That said we've already got the animator working on the next scene which does actually involve quite a bit more variation than this particular scene, as we are aware that you guys are asking for more variation. I'm also in the process of editing another which also involves more variation. James

Yes, I know that additional variation adds more complexity and checks ... but also adds a great deal of additional value. The trick is figuring out the "ratio gain" from that extra effort. Do you get something 2x as good by putting in 1.5x as much effort? That kind of thing. It's one thing to say "I think you could have done better" and it's something else again to say "And here's HOW I think you could have done better" so that the people making decisions can weigh the alternatives and make a proper value judgement.

Would be nice to see a climax, even if there's no fluid. Just Cerene's dick flexing or pulsing or whatever and a gulping sounds. Otherwise it's a pretty good loop. One side thing I'm curious about, why do the models look so much better in the animation vs the image set for this one? The image set looked like a test render but this looks like a finished product. Usually the image sets look better than the clips.

Visually very pretty. Sexy participants. I agree that the forehead furrows are kind of distracting/not very sexy. I think POV can be really sexy, but Cerene's head was moving so much, I found myself a bit motion sick. Maybe slower/less motion? Like the POV blowjob shots from Royal Descent: it makes you feel like you're on the receiving end of the BJ, but not having your eyes move around so much to keep up with what's going on. I know this is a tricky line to walk with POV. In real life, we move our heads around a lot, but our brain compensates for all the motion making things look smooth. I find that harder to do when watching something shaky on my screen that is sitting still.

i hate that jill looks so old. other animators or 3d artists make her skin look so clear and her figure is a lot lighter. just kinda throws it off for me

You really haven't gotten the hint after all this time? He's (once again) trying to tell you (very nicely, mind you) that your "HOW" statements are either unrealistic or unfeasible to accomplish given the mission statement and context of these clips. Just another "read the room" moment.

Jill's forehead wrinkles continue to kill my boner. Also whatever might have been gained realism/dynamism wise from the dick bend is immediately lost the second the exact same bend repeats. And then becomes insulting when it doesn't even change when Cerene's hand gets involved. Did you make a single 15 frame sequence of Jill going down Cerene's cock then just loop it back and forth at different speeds and periods? If not, then you could have fooled me.

Must be a trick of the bend then. The bends a good idea but it needs to change a little bit more, especially when something changes about the actual penetration. Otherwise the most eyecatching part of the scene seems to be going through a loop/loops I think part of the problem is that in the beginning it really feels like I'm seeing a lot of bend sequence A bend sequence B... A A B A B B A. Etc. Then Cerene grabs Jill and I'm like OH SHIT. Then I just get fed A and B at a higher rate. Even though Cerene's cock is ramrod straight, I'm not suggesting it should dance around a million different directions. But a struggling wiggle/single bend a different direction once Cerene finally grabs Jill's head would look really good in showing a jarring change in pace, followed by more intense deeper bends in the original direction now that pressure is directly being applied from an angle. So like A A B A BB AA.. Cerene headgrab, dramatic bend C, then followed by A* A* B*B*B* A*... My apologies if I came off as harsh before, the video looks really good, it's just that now that the cock has dancing technology it's nearly all I could focus on and since it wasn't yet perfected it distracted me.
