Sorry for the delay on this week’s text update -- Marie was wrapping up some deadlines the first half of the week. Hopefully you’ve seen and enjoyed part 8 of Flying High this week, however!

Blender General -- Progress on the Blender team continues. The most exciting news this week is that Cerene’s dickgirl rig is finished. This means Cerene’s rig is now complete.

In addition to that, miro has also reviewed a couple animation drafts and sent back notes. Two of the animators starting their trials this past week were assigned clips with Cerene in them. We won’t know right away if these clips will pan out, but we’ll let you know as they come along. She’ll be getting acquainted with Lisa to start with.

One of our riggers is also setting up an existing Jill Valentine model with a dick so we can have a little more variety in the short animation character roster.

Flying High -- Part 9 is looking good and we hope to wrap it up either by the end of the month or the start of October.

Seed of Rebirth Animations -- The latest version we received last week is looking good, with nice transitions between slow and fast movement. There are a few things left to fix before our first cam test. There’s a slight skip in the animation loop and some arm and boob collision on Cerene. Raven also needs a little more toe movement, plus some variation to her head, arm, and hand movement.

Reminder, if the clips dont "pan out", still post them. View box, rendered, whatever.

Remind me ... is Flying High supposed to end with 9 or 10 parts at this point?

Did any of my suggestions come onboard?

Cyberpunk is missing again. Will assume it's still on track for the end of this month. Yay!

TheGreatCornholio

Any news about the renpy VNs of the patreon sets?

Kyla

10 parts, think this was said way back too.

we're working out the core team again, whether to complete fan service in daz or setup a new set in blender right away, and transferring fan service while that's going on doing another set in daz feels like delaying the inevitable

IBT

Doing another set in daz rather than blender would be delaying the inevitable. Better to convert and move down the experience curve sooner rather than later when dealing with the inevitable.

Important to note that "doesn't pan out" can mean different things with these blender trials. Can mean "the artist never turned anything in" in which case there's no scene to show, because the only thing that exists is an environment file and character files sitting in a folder. Other thing it can mean is "when given a trial assignment, we found the artist had misrepresented their ability" in which the animations can look like someone who's never animated before is using our characters in a scene that is painful to watch. This is different than when miro decides something he's working on directly isn't panning out. In his case, he is a practiced animator and the A3D style is his personal style. That won't be the case for clips being created by artists we've only worked with once. -Marie

It's chugging along, yeah. It was the same status as last week so I didn't include it. -Marie

Passed them on to our blender production coordinator. Will have to check if we've contacted any of them yet. =) -Marie
