Let's get more acquainted with Lanessa by listening to her sexy voice :D

I've prepped a MP3 in which you'll hear a few random lines voiced by Lanessa's voice actress while she's channeling her inner vampire. The last line is a sample line with room reverberation. Some lines might be used in the final product, some may not be. The takes aren't final recordings, so just think of them of samples to give you an idea of what Lanessa sounds like.

Really like the last one.(cause of echo) Can't wait for slamming sound or dropping cumm on the floor. And "Haven't enough" could mean so many way, 1. I didn't expect Lanessa to have that kind of voice. In the pictures she looks so dark and mysterious (and "mighty"). I think the voice lines sounds too light and outgoing for her. Maybe I just made my own kind of prediction of how Lanessa was going to be/sound like. I really like the voice lines!

I would think she'd sound a bit more aggressive and demanding. It sounds ok, but just a bit to bubbly schoolgirl like.

I'm thinking that the first couple of lines sound a touch too ... girly ... for Lanessa and lack an undertone of Mean Girl™ in them. Makes me wonder what the VA would sound like if she added a little bit of an Edge (a "bite" ...?) to her performance of those same lines. So a touch less playful laughter and a bit more "promises promises" inflection mixed into the lines. That way, it's not just about what is being said in the moment, but also what is being IMPLIED around the line(s) being said.

The beginning is way to girly... if i wouldn't know that is Lanessa i would think it is a little girl trying to sound like a slut etc.

Sounds ok. The first few lines sound too much like a mean highschool girl. Would have like a more intense/dominating/serious/womanly voice, since I think Cerene already occupies the role of 'teasing mean girl', but as I've said it sounds ok overall.

I do agree with some of the others here, whereas the VA has done a good job, I don't feel the voice matches the personality. Lanessa has been portrayed as a not only a match to Cerene but someone to pound her into submission. Lanessa's voice comes off as playful, almost as though Lanessa and Sophia are just toying with Cerene, this is great, but if her voice sounded more....sinister, it could seem more so that Lanessa has put Cerene through the ringer before and is here to do it again.

by request, her original take was deeper, a lot more dominatrix, but I prefer she keep a more feminine voice and speak more with action... so that's on me, not the voice actress and I'm very happy with that direction

I'll just say this: put your trust in your voice actors/actresses. If they had first an idea of how a certain character sounds like, they will probably have more idea and experience than someone that is not a professional in that area, including the fandom by the way XD So I would say we get the original sample with the first approach the VA did. It will be more than interesting to hear her idea and, who knows, maybe at the end of the day it sounds much better and more fit to Lanessa. All in all, sounds cool, but now knowing she had more of a deeper/dominatrix approach first, maybe she actually nailed it with the request. Just saying haha

I don't agree with most of the posters; I definitely love the sound of her voice. There is the teasting quality that Cerene has, but why not? They're sex vampires... wouldn't they be teasing each other all the time? :P

Both versions of the first line sound too cartoonish (Wendee Lee much?) and the overly girlish giggle after "had enough" doesn't fit Lanessa at all imo. The deeper more mature (sultry,seductive) sound in the lines "Of course it is." "This is nothing for her." "Harder! she can take it." "Well then Cerene, I think it's time don't you?" are PERFECT. I'm reminded of the mistake that was turning Sayako into Minnie mouse in the G4E DLC. Please don't do that to Lanessa.
