You are right about them wanting to keep it PG for the Medusa scene, them turning her invisible was actually something that was changed for the show. But I think they played it quite well as it made sense in story that it was a smart move to counter the problem of fighting her without looking at her. And yes, love how we are introduced to the dynamic of the trio here. Poor Grover stuck in the middle, but he played the part of the mediator well at the end. And of course, the best way for the two twelve-year-olds who can't get along to bond with each other is over discussing how they killed monsters. 😅
