There’s many things to process with this episode but the Gilbert family drama is my favorite. “Hey Elena. Your little brother’s teacher was actually married to your biological mother. So now he’s your step father AND he’s dating your aunt. And not to surprise you too bad but you and your unknown stepfather are grieving the loss of your mother … who was — by the way — feasted on by your vampire boyfriend’s older brother.” I’d be charging the Salvatore’s my therapy bill at this point.
