I'm so glad you're doing this! In all honesty, I subscribed for The Good Place, and was thinking about unsubscribing now you've finished it, but with B99 you have me hooked again! It does, as you probably know, have some of the same producing elements as The Good Place, and I think it has a bit of the same idealistic outlook, that people always have the potential to get better -- along with a lot of laughs. I especially like the way the characters don't fall into the stereotypes that one might expect; for instance, even if Amy Santiago is determined to prove herself and to have Capt. Holt for a mentor, she's not a killjoy -- she has a sense of humor (for instance she was amused by some of Jake's antics in the electronics store).

I discovered and binged this show just as we were entertaining the pandemic. It quickly became one of my favorite shows! I’m excited to watch you react to B99!

I've been meaning to watch this show for awhile now, but keep having trouble getting started. So I'm looking forward to seeing what it's all about with you! Though I think your reaction to the price of the Jamon Iberico was funnier to me than the episode itself! Before the pandemic shut it down, I worked in a restuarant that sold a selection of hams, including Iberico, so that made me cackle a bit. And, yeah, Iberico really is worth that much. There's a lot of legal protections and quality control that goes into that ham. Plus, they're talking about a full leg, which is usually in the ballpark of 8kg of meat (if my metric conversions are accurate). Ah, sorry for rambling on. It's a subject I learned a lot about for my job so I could answer costumers' questions. Anyway, if you eat pork and enjoy cured meats, and you get the opportunity to try some Iberico, it's worth the experience. It is a really good ham.

Yeah, I knew coming into this, it wouldn't be done by the end of the year of whatever. It took me just over a year to do the Good Place so I am prepared to do a couple of years especially since I have done Buffy since 2019 in the summer and am about to conclude it :)
