Great reaction! I think the thing regarding Wesley’s anger is that the rest of AI don’t know the full story. All the team knew was that Wesley had been talking to Holtz behind their back and took Connor. Angel and company assumed Wesley made some deal with Holtz and then got backstabbed by Justine. I forgot what episode it was but Gunn says something along the lines of Wesley taking Connor and giving him to Angel’s sworn enemy. If i recall correctly, Wes was never going to give Connor to Holtz. He was trying to save Connor and to a lesser extent Angel so the prophecy would never come true. So for Wesley fighting for his life to try to explain to his friends that he didn’t betray them in the way they believe he did, I get some of his resentment. Doesn’t excuse anything he did or his actions, he still should’ve trusted his friends with the information he had. I also think, judging by the freshness of the scar, everything is still somewhat fresh. Wesley needs time to process his anger, the sense of betrayal he feels, while still reconciling the weight of his own actions.

I understand Wesley's anger. They have a right to be angry, that's not in question. But they were a family, and none of them came to him afterwards to ask him to explain what happened (even if they still chose to hate him after hearing what he said). The only time anyone came to talk to him afterwards was when Fred came to lecture him afterwards and tell him the prophecy was false - which was kind of unfair, because Wesley's throat was cut and he couldn't say anything in defense. He had to just lay there and listen to her without being able to respond. And what about Cordelia? She, Wesley, and Angel have been a team since season one, they were the closest. But when she comes back and hears what happened, she doesn't go to see Wesley, not even if it’s just to demand what the hell he was thinking?
