Watching you go all goo-goo-eyed for Hook was fantastic, Liam. I literally saw you turn into a puddle. LOL And you can join at least half the world on that one. :D Loving these reactions, my friend. I'm so glad to be back.

This is the episode i wanted you to react to since the beginning!! Im on vacation so i have to wait till i can watch the episode next saturday, but what did you think of the new character???? In you previous life stream i told you (i dont know if you remember me, if not its okay😂) there was someone who you would LIKE!! Find handsome! Its this guy! He is one of my favorites in this serie. Soooooooo what did you think??? You have a crush👀? Like i said back then, as a lesbian i find him really handsome guy 😂.

This episode was amazing. Rumple was a mood during the whole fight sequence, hahaha. I’m so glad you like QUAT. It only gets better. Unrelated question, but have you seen Merlin? If you are planning on reacting to a new show or if a slot opens up you should definitely consider it. It would be right up your alley. :)

The Crocodile- Yay!!!! Thank you so very much for such a fun reaction to one of my absolute favorite episodes from season two, and one of my favorite episodes throughout the entire series too!!!!! I am deeply in love Killian Jones, also known as Captain Hook!! Yes... I definitely melted every time he is onscreen. He is absolutely gorgeous! But he's also so, so much more. :) As for Hook's actual name being Killian Jones and not James Hook like it is in every other version of Peter Pan... I believe Hook was given a different name for two reasons. One, and the main reason for his name change... because Captain Hook is instead a moniker he takes up for himself upon losing his hand and taking his hook in place of it, as he comes to be a villain seeking revenge against Rumplestiltskin. It's a name he gives himself to strike fear into the hearts of his enemies, like a number of villains and superheroes take up new monikers or alter egos when becoming villain or superhero. Which I absolutely love about this version of his character. And two... because him being called Killian Jones is also meant to be a misdirect for us as the audience so we don't know right away who this pirate Captain really is. So that we are surprised, and more excited once we realize who this amazing new character is. You had an inkling right away that he was Hook from the beginning, simply from him being a pirate and someone who appeared to be more of a one episode kind of character. Which makes sense that you would gain this sense of inkling. Nonetheless... I really love that Hook has a real name that's different from all the other Peter Pan stories. I absolutely love his name. Captain Hook/Killian Jones is my overall favorite character, alongside Emma throughout the entire show. And not just because of his good looks. Hook is just phenomenally incredible... and he only continues to get better and better. I am so, so happy that you seemed to really, really enjoy his character and this episode's overall storylines. :) Also... I absolutely love the interactions between Hook and Rumplestiltskin within the flashbacks. Their duel halfway through the episode is a lot of fun, and Hook most certainly can hold his own, even though Rumple is the Dark One and obviously can't be killed. It's an unfair fight really, and Hook knows darn well that Rumplestiltskin could have killed him at any time and still can. However, Hook doesn't let fear of the Crocodile stand in his way. In fact... he's one of the few characters who isn't ever afraid of Rumplestiltskin in the slightest. He's very smug towards him, and he hates the Dark One with every fiber of his being. Which is very clear why throughout this episode. Is it foolish of him to taunt Rumple like he and Milah do? Yes of course, given that Rumple is the Dark One. And yet it shows Hook doesn't care who Rumple is. He'll fight for what he wants, which is very much one of his biggest characteristics, just like he taunts to cowardly Rumple in the beginning of this episode aboard his ship. "A man unwilling to fight for what he wants, deserves what he gets." I also love Hook, because he has so many sides to his character too, and we slowly get to see more and more revealed about him over time. It's so much fun! And both Hook and Rumplestiltskin play off of each other so perfectly, just as the actors who play them do. Colin O'Donoghue (Hook) and Robert Carlyle (Rumple). And then... Hook loses his hand to the Crocodile when he pretends to be holding the magic bean in it after he uses slight of hand to put the bean someplace where Rumple can't take it from him, as Rumplestiltskin cuts his hand off not just for the bean, but to make Killian suffer even more than just losing his love. So cruel and so perfect. This whole scene between Hook and Rumplestiltskin as Hook vows revenge against Rumple... then the scene a short time later when Killian Jones becomes Captain Hook as he locks his hook in place and calls out they're traveling to Neverland so he can live long enough to find a way to gain his revenge... these are my favorite scenes throughout this episode. They're absolutely perfect! Also... I absolutely love that Rumplestiltskin and the Crocodile from the fairytale and the Disney movie, Peter Pan are one in the same! :) I've always loved Peter Pan and all versions of Peter Pan in both movies and in J.M. Barrie's classic play and novel growing up. So seeing my favorite show bringing parts of its story into the storylines is absolutely brilliant. And this is the third time we see Rumple take the place of characters from their fairytales. First... when he kills Cinderella's Fairy Godmother and takes her place back in season one's episode... The Price of Gold. And second... when we learn that Rumple has also taken the place of the Beast from the fairytale, Beauty and the Beast back in season one's... Skin Deep through the present storyline. Now... Rumplestiltskin/Gold has also taken the place of the Crocodile from Peter Pan too because of his word choice in saying the words "tick tock! Tick tock!", because Killian recognizes his skin coloring and textures and calls him so to taunt Rumplestiltskin without knowing he is the Dark One, and because Rumplestiltskin then cuts off Hook's hand, becoming Hook's most fearsome enemy. In the original Peter Pan story, Peter Pan cuts off Hook's hand and then feeds it to the crocodile, who then in turns continues to follow Hook the rest of his life to terrorize him in hope of eating the rest of him. Yet I love the twists in the Peter Pan tale here in Once Upon a Time. It's brilliant writing for an incredible storyline that I absolutely adore. Both Colin O'Donoghue and Robert Carlyle are phenomenal actors, and they play off one another so well, just like I've said above. As for magic beans and how they work... when characters pass through a portal created from them, the portal will take them to wherever they are thinking of. So in this episode, when Hook throws the bean into the ocean and takes his ship through the portal, he is thinking of Neverland... a place where he hopes to travel to so he can live long enough to discover a way to kill Rumplestiltskin and where he won't ever age. Hook threatens, "Even demons can be killed. I will find a way." to which Rumple taunts him by saying in return, "Good luck living long enough." just before he vanishes. And later, once we see Hook take on his new name Captain Hook in order to become the villain Rumple was partly responsible for making him become, he states that they are heading to Neverland... a place he has clearly heard about to be a place where he can find the answers he seeks without growing old, since he knows that as the Dark One, Rumplestiltskin is immortal. And because we see Hook, before he becomes Hook, interacting with Rumple before he becomes the Dark One, then we later see Hook come into the present day storyline, we know that he definitely made it to Neverland and that Hook is nearly as old as Rumplestiltskin is, yet that neither men have aged. And Hook has been seeking revenge against Rumplestiltskin for all these years. For over two hundred years, as Rumplestiltskin has mentioned he's been the Dark One for centuries a few times now throughout this show so far. And two hundred years is a very long time to hold a grudge against an enemy, as Hook's hatred of the Dark One has only grown and grown over the years. And I just love, love, love that Hook uses slight of hand to trick Rumplestiltskin so he could keep hold of the magic bean and travel to Neverland to seek out a way to gain his revenge. Hook is sly and brilliant! And then... I love seeing Hook brought into the present day storyline when we see him in the end with Cora... as they are now fighting to make their way to Storybrooke, so that Hook can continue to seek out his revenge against Rumplestiltskin, and Cora can reunite with Regina. It's brilliant!!! I love Hook's final lines... "Excellent. You'll be able to see your daughter, and I can skin myself a crocodile." The dark look in his eyes... phenomenal!! As for where Hook and Cora are in the ending... They're definitely in the Enchanted Forest. Hook was definitely in Neverland for some time, as we saw him travel there upon steering his ship into the portal that would take them there, but in the present day, he and Cora are currently in the Enchanted Forest. And Hook is seen looking through his spyglass at the island sanctuary where Emma, Mary Margaret, Mulan, and Aurora are currently living along with a small number of people who also weren't taken by the curse for reasons that have yet to be explained. Just as Hook and Cora weren't taken up by the curse either. Next... I really love Smee's storyline in the past storyline, as well as seeing him in the present. It's a little odd that Smee seeks to have eternal life, but I love that he finally settles for never growing old while living in Neverland with Hook and the rest of the pirates. And overall, I love seeing the interactions between Hook and Smee in the end as Hook invites Smee to become a part of his crew, and seeing the two characters brought together. And Chris Gauthier who plays Smee is quite perfect in the role. I like his character a lot. And Smee is well known from the Peter Pan story to be bumbly and to always wear his red knit cap just like his character is here too. As for Milah... she's really a terrible character and I really don't like her at all. Mostly because she's so cruel to Rumple, especially back when he was a good man before he became the Dark One. Yes... he was a coward and he should have at least tried to fight for her like Killian taunted him. But Rumple was at least a good man then, so he didn't deserve to be treated so cruelly. And Milah abandoned her son too. I also do not like her and Killian together. I appreciate their storyline because it gives a reason for Hook to seek out revenge against Rumplestiltskin, but they just aren't right for one another at all. And I love Hook's character, while I absolutely hate hers. I don't feel bad that she died, even though she didn't deserve death. Although... I do feel so badly for Killian in spite of him being a cruel pirate, because he lost her and he did love her very much. And I could definitely feel the deep emotions coming from him upon him being forced to watch her die. Pure anger, hatred, and devastation. Colin O'Donoghue is brilliant at showing the emotions. I love how good this show is at showing us why characters become the villains, and even the heroes that we see them become, when we don't get their origins in their Disney movies or other stories. And there's so much more to Hook/Killian Jones than meets the eye. :) Now... I also love Ruby's and Belle's friendship development in the present storyline, and I really love the scene between Belle and Gold in the end in the library. First... because like you said, it's beautiful that Rumple gives her the key to the library just as the Beast gives Belle the library in Beauty and the Beast too. And second... because Gold breaks down and finally admits to Belle the truth about Bae and his true reasons for bringing magic back to Storybrooke in a very sincere way that I truly do believe. The line when Gold states that magic has become a crutch he can no longer walk without... is amazing. It's very symbolic of him needing to walk with a cane. And the parallels in this episode are amazing like always. Definitely, a true breakthrough for Rumple. And I love how Belle asks Gold out on a date by asking him if he's ever tried a hamburger. I love that while he has, he is happy to go out with her because she hasn't ever had a hamburger before. So cute. :) As for their relationship... While I do like them back in the Beauty and the Beast centered episode within season one titled... Skin Deep, because I think they're adorable and because Belle doesn't fall in love with him right away like the episode sometimes makes it look like they did, I feel that Belle needs to take time to find herself and I am so happy that she finally comes to understand this about herself by the end of this episode too. And Belle really does ask him out in a way that shows she's willing to give him another chance, as they start over instead of her running back to him and continuing on in her poisoned relationship with him. Which I appreciate. This show is all about both heroes and villains striving to find themselves again, especially now that those in Storybrooke have woken up from the curse. And I love how much this show really shows each of the characters trying to do so. And not just our main characters like Emma, Snow, David, Regina, Belle, and Rumple, but we also get to see the more minor characters like Ruby, Granny, and Archie trying to do so too. And it's really quite wonderful to see how they all grow. Belle's nightmare in the very beginning was horrifying too. I wasn't expecting it and seeing Gold suddenly transform back into Rumplestiltskin again like that... yikes! But so good. And it's completely understandable that Belle would be having nightmares of Gold reverting back into Rumplestiltskin, the monster she once knew him as, given that she's unsure if he is really changing and is trying to be good as much as he claims to be. :) I love that David has now become the acting sheriff, and seeing Gold come to him for help to find Belle, as well as him asking for dating advice. It is quite funny, and wonderful to see Gold act so sincerely, in a way that is rare and difficult for him. I also really love Ruby joining them to help them find Belle using her wolf abilities. And it's fantastic hearing David share with Gold how he and Snow make their relationship work, as they always have... because they're honest with one another. Not just truthful, but that they share honesty of the heart as well. And it's wonderful hearing David admit that nothing has taught him this more than the curse had, given how dishonest his cursed self had been with both Mary Margaret and with Kathryn too. And lastly... sadly, there is no Emma, Mary Margaret, or Regina in this episode, but there just isn't room because there was far too much else going on. But in all honesty, I didn't really miss them too, too much... because I love seeing so much with Hook and a few more of the other characters like Ruby too. And with all that is going on, this episode just flows very well. Overall... I love, love, love this episode... like I've already said. I'm sure I could say more, but these comments are probably far too long as it is. So I will end it here. Thank you so much for another fabulous reaction, my dear friend! I love Captain Hook!!! And I am so pleased and happy that you enjoyed his character too! I can't wait for more to come!!!! Until next week for more... Thank you so much!! Oh! Here's a fun fact for you... The ship that's used as Hook's ship throughout this episode... the Jolly Roger... it is also one of the many ships used in the first of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. The ship that Norrington had named the Interceptor. The ship's real name is the Lady Washington. Also... the actor who plays Grumpy is Lee Arenberg, who also plays in the original Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy as Pintel, a goofy pirate as well. Very cool. :) Thank you very much, Liam!! Sincerely, Heidi

Liam meet Hook. Please remain calm at all times😂😂

MelGoethals

If Liam getting flustered over Killian Jones isn't the biggest mood, I don't know what is.

Katherine Thoreson

Ba da dum dum dum....another one bites the dust! I think we all fall for Killian. ;D

Melissa Amato

Poor Killian never expected the Darkones wayward wife, to enter his life. Or for Baelfire to pay the price, for Rumplestilkin's betrayal.
