Xander’s callback to the S4 Halloween episode was great continuity! Also, hope you’re enjoying your new place!

Welcome back! Did you catch the tune Buffy was whistling as she left Doris's office? You might need to listen to it once more...with feeling...

I know it's a lighter ep, but it's one of my least favorites.

It's funny, I've always said how my enjoyment of an episode can sometimes depend on how the reactor responds to it. That's never been more true than with this episode. Although I like this episode, and there is plenty to enjoy in it, I usually see this as a weaker episode compared to a lot of season 6. But your enjoyment of it made it a lot of fun to watch. Buffy's antics made it hilarious, and your delight in it made it pure joy. Great reaction, as always, Liam.

I was going to say that the callback was actually to season one, "Out of Mind, Out of Sight," but technically, it could be either that or Season 4, "Fear Itself," (the episode you're referring to). Buffy interpreted Xander's statement as referring to Marci (Invisible Girl from Out of Sight, Out of Mind), because she said, "No, this isn't a Marci deal." But it's neat how we know it could have been either one, because Xander also went invisible in Fear itself because he was feeling alone and ignored.

I would have loved this episode if they hadn't put in the scenes with Spike. Because she was all against being with him and was disgusted by it, and in this episode she just had to be with him.

Loved this episode - Willow is my favorite (ok I have many favorites but she's my favorite favorite) and I loved seeing her make some steps towards recovery. Buffy is so relatable to me here and through in this entire season - I have bad depression and sometimes it's a real struggle to remember that I actually want to live.
