What are you talking about? The insurance was eaten up on medical bills. They had to move in to take care of Dawn. Why would they continue paying 2 sets of living expenses? The idea they're freeloading is way off base.

CeNedra

Your tree is very pretty :)

Ah yes, welcome to one of the best depictions of PTSD and Clinical Depression on a television series ever.

Remember in "Superstar" when Jonathan said he met some guys at a support group who knew magic? Major fan theory? It was Warren and Andrew. I love that they did an episode about the simple economic horror of what Buffy's life is. Economic anxiety is genuinely frightening.

Corey

Yes the nerds are lame, but they also gave us Andrew . :)

Val

I really dislike the nerds, despite making me chuckle occasionally.

Season 6...I promise you delivers on so many levels, I haven't watched this season in awhile and quarantine is going to be the perfect time to go down the rabbit hole 🙃😎 lol

Devon Martin

Absolutely! I'm 31 and this show relates on so many levels. 20+ year fan of this show and it's been living in my subconscious since lol 🙂🙂

I've always enjoyed the nerds. Good to see Jonothan again.

I can see the support group being Warren and Andrew. Seems like they were friends for quite some time before the flashback :)

It's a very small detail, but I think it says an awful lot about her mental state at this point that when Spike jokes to Buffy about "thinning the herd a bit" for her, she just kind of grins/chuckles a bit. Doesn't even roll her eyes. We know its just a joke, and obviously so does Buffy, but could you imagine if he'd said that to her last season, even as an obvious joke? He'd be lucky not to get punched. But now she's so just *done* with everything that it seems like she doesn't really care about *anything*. This season is quite a mixed bag (both for me personally and for the general community it seems), but one of the best things about it imo is just how well they depict Buffy's PTSD/Depression.

Interesting points, I think it is more to do with her liking Spike as a person more, or at least being less repulsed by him. Although I appreciate her mental state and declining sense of purpose has probably contributed to that.

Buffy friends pissed me the heck off in this episode. Willow and Tara are living at her home right now, where are their jobs? If they didn't drag Buffy back from the dead, how would they be paying bills? Also, they ran up Joyce's insurance money... I just can't.

CeNedra

I nearly just put 'tree pretty ' but then I over-thought it and was thinking it was fire pretty 🙄🤣

I can't remember Willow working a day in her life. They lived in her house, spending her money and then when she came back she was the one who was expected to go out and get a job so they could carry on living there for free.
