Oh man, I love watching this with you! I totally get your conflicted feelings about Mary and David. I don't like when infidelity is portrayed as romantic, so I was also super torn about that kiss! But the build up and delivery was done so freaking well, it's hard to not get carried away right with them! I guess that's just a sign of fantastic story telling :) Thanks for sharing your reaction with us!

715 AM- Such a beautiful episode and a fun reaction from you, Liam. So thank you so very much!! I am most definitely always excited for a new reaction from you for Once Upon a Time. :) First of all... Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is the original Disney movie from way back in 1937, and Snow White's and Prince Charming's love story is the original fairytale love story written, which is why this show's creators chose to make their love story the dominant love story throughout season one. And because Snow and Charming, or David and Mary Margaret are two of this shows major characters too. This is all why they focus more on their love story than any others and more so than a number of the other characters except for Emma, Henry, Regina, and Rumplestiltskin. And yes... I agree with you that this show is amazing at making us care so much even for the minor characters like Grumpy as well. Which I very much love and appreciate! :) As for what I love about this episode... First, I absolutely love the continued mystery of the stranger and his interactions with both Henry and Emma. I especially love his meeting with Emma at Granny's, as he goads Emma about the mystery inside his box and how he finally convinces her to have a drink with him. He's very smooth. And I love that he finally reveals that he's a writer upon showing her his typewriter within his box, only adding to the brilliant mystery about him. :) This is one of my favorite scenes throughout the episode actually, as much as I am a fan who loves Snow's and Charming's love story. Now... of course this episode is centric around Snow White/Mary Margaret and Prince Charming/David in both the past and present storylines. And I love them both in spite of the flaws within them especially shown more so throughout the Storybrooke storyline. I love their overall backstory. I love that we see their struggles to find one another, which is their major theme throughout the series. As for Mary Margaret's and David's love story in this episode... I still really enjoy it, but it definitely has its flaws. And its annoyances too. And believe me... this love triangle does annoy me at times, because I definitely don't condone cheating for any reasons. It's always wrong. Even with the knowledge that we know David and Kathryn aren't really married in their cursed lives. Just made to believe that they are, which makes their affair still an affair. However, I do understand why the creators and writers chose to write their story in such a way, because it is the worst possible situation that will cause both Snow and Charming the most pain, which is exactly what Regina wanted when she cursed them. So this situation is what the curse has forced upon them. Although... Regina isn't really too happy that David and Mary Margaret keep finding ways of being together. She most definitely didn't understand what would come of her curse fully, that's for sure. Next... I really love how the storyline with Mary Margaret wishing to free the dove so it can return to its own family is symbolic of the relationship between Snow and Charming, as well as Mary Margaret and David. I really love the parallels between their two storylines. Another of my favorite scenes throughout this episode is the moment Snow is forced to confront Charming inside King George's castle to tell him she doesn't love him in order to save his life. It's so heartbreaking, yet beautiful and beautifully acted. The emotion first on Charming's face as he cries upon hearing her tell him she doesn't love him, and then afterwards the pain on Snow's face as she's walking away from him... Raw heartbreaking emotion. Their chemistry is exquisite and it's easy to see that their actors are really in love with one another and why they married in real life. While Snow could have told Charming the truth about King George threatening his life, she knows that in doing so, she would have put Charming's life more at risk, knowing that King George is a very powerful man and that he would send assassins out to try to have him killed. She didn't want to risk putting his life anymore at risk if she could protect him. Next... I also really love Grumpy's storyline upon learning that he had once been in love, and I love that this episode shows how he and the rest of the dwarfs meet Snow White. I love that Snow risks her own life in order to help Grumpy to escape from being killed by King George's men inside the castle. And Grumpy is great here, when he refuses to give Snow up despite King George's threat that he is about to be killed. And we also learn about Stealthy, who is killed right away to leave behind seven brothers... the seven dwarfs. As for Stealthy... the reason for creating another dwarf outside of the seven was to bring the seven dwarfs and Snow White together. To help give the dwarfs, not only a reason for them to want to save and protect Snow White from the Evil Queen and her Black Guards, but also to help give them and Snow a deeper connection. Now Snow and the dwarfs all know how it feels to lose people they love. And I really love their coming together storyline. Also... this scene between them is the very scene the Evil Queen watched within her mirror in the previous episode... True North. Also... I love the brief moment between Snow and Rumplestiltskin, as she meets him for the first time too in order to get something from him that will help her to forget Charming so she won't have to feel so much pain, especially after having to lie to him to break his heart. Grumpy keeps Snow from drinking Rumple's potion for a little while, but inevitably, the pain becomes too much for her and it's later revealed in the end that she drinks it after all. As for one of my favorite lines within this episode... I love, love, love David's line to Mary Margaret just after she frees the dove, when he states to her... "I have memories of feelings for Kathryn, and real feelings for you." Such a poignant line that crosses over with Charming's feelings and love for Snow White. And it's so true because Charming was never in love with Abigail in the fairytale world. Yet his cursed memories are telling him he loves Kathryn (Abigail), while he can't ignore the real feelings he feels for Mary Margaret because of the True Love he feels for Snow White. He and Mary Margaret just can't remember they're truly married and why they're so much in love despite it not making any sense to them. David's and Mary Margaret's love is definitely unique. I know that in Storybrooke, David and Mary Margaret are cheating upon giving into their feelings for one another because they believe he and Kathryn are married. However, we know otherwise, as shown in the Pilot that Snow White and Prince Charming are really the ones married to one another. Like I said above... I never condone cheating. It's despicable and I normally hate love triangles established between any characters in any show or movie. A part of me does hate this love triangle created between Mary Margaret, David, and Kathryn too. And yet... because Snow White and Prince Charming are True Loves and their love story is beautiful, I do still route for them and for their love to win out. Oh... and as far as Red Riding Hood's brief storyline within this episode... I love her brief appearances. First with Snow and in the end with Charming. Ruby/Red is definitely a fun character that I really love in both worlds, even though her role has been fairly minimal so far. Just be patient. :) Overall... I really do love this storyline with David and Mary Margaret and I love its parallels to the Enchanted Forest storyline. I love how both of them come to Granny's every morning at 715 am to see one another without realizing why the other was doing so at first, then later that they try to avoid one another by coming in for coffee later, only to inevitably run into one another again. I love the moments between David and Mary Margaret as she struggles to free the bird so it can be with its flock before they leave him behind. And I love how David saves her and they both finally talk about their feelings towards one another, which later leads to their kiss in the end, sadly seen by Regina. But I love how both of them try so hard to ignore their feelings, eventually going so far as to try to avoid one another, only to find that they can't any longer. It is definitely fate. What will Regina do next and how will Snow come to remember Charming again? And who is this Stranger? So many questions and so many episodes to come. :) Thank you again so much for your reaction!! I really enjoyed it and had fun watching it with you. Until next time...
