If I remember correctly, during the time of this season airing there had been cop issues going down as well. Nothing as bad as what we hear about today, but enough to grab people's attention of course. However, this was during my freshman yr of high school and it was a very hazy one for me, my mom had passed away Nov. 1998... I was in middle school still, but that was the start of the haz. I had to do my freshman yr over again because my focus was not around to do any work for school and I just didn't give a crap. I joined Drama club that first yr and information to the outside world was rare while working on productions and all, but I do remember hearing stuff about cops in LA, only about 2 or so hrs away from where I grew up, giving cops a bad name. Don't remember details of course... it wasn't until Sept. 11, 2001 when I truly started giving a crap about the world... I walked into my drama class that morning with the TV on the stage as we all sat and watched the news... tears escaping nearly every eye... it was my first tastes at seeing how in trouble our world really is in. Now look at us. Not better... so no better. TV shows are for us to escape the real world, many TV shows us real life situations to not only raise their ratings, but also to try to teach us SOMETHING. Yes, this episode uses zombie's as an entertainment factor, but the ideas come from REAL situations... just wish more people could truly understand it.

Cops are just like everyone else: some have anger issues, some have no patience. Media is only sensationalizing isolated events. Let's not forget that a lot of the people cops deal with are like Gunn's associate that Liam called "piece of shit" or something?

sorry ive not been able to watch your videos lately because of family problems but im back now trying to catch up and i know what u mean about this episode showing what it can really be like for anyone whos black i remember i was out with a friend a good few years ago hes black and we were actually behaving a bit immature we were in Piccadilly gardens in Manchester and we were having a laugh i grabbed his packet of crisps and so he chased me we were just having fun laughing then he caught me and tackled me for the crisps it didn't hurt we landed on grass we anyway we ended up on the grass laughing then all of a sudden 2 police officers came over and started questioning him when i managed to get to my feet i asked what was going on one of the officers came to me and asked if i was ok so i said yes then he asked me if my friend hurt me so i said no y would he hut me hes my friend and asked what this was all about he said they were patrolling and say him chase me and knock me to the ground so i said he chased me to get his crisps back and he tackled playfully which is why we were both laughing so the police said he apparently didn't see us laughing and said when they saw someone like him tackle someone like me to the ground so i said what do u mean someone like him and someone like me i knew exactly what he meant he meant a black guy and a white woman i just wanted him to say it because i knew people around us could hear what we were saying he stood there stunned so i walked over to where my friend was getting interrogated by the other one and said if ur done questioning my friend we should go unless u want to keep questioning a man whos done nothing wrong just because he has different color skin and u r a racist it doesn't matter what color our skin is because under his skin his organs veins blood color is exactly the same as u just because hes black doesn't mean hes a bad person there r plenty of white guys that do things he would never do no matter what threes not a bad bone in his body if u looked past skin color than u will see it doesn't matter what color u r its the person that counts no matter what u look like if ur a good or bad person that's just who u r it has nothing to do with the outside its the type of person on the inside so please go and find someone who is actually committing a crime then i grabbed my friend and walked off
