This is such a polarizing episode - people either love it or hate it - it actually convinced me to stop lurking long enough to tell you how stoked I was that you were in the former group! Your surprise (shock) and amusement made me laugh as hard as I did the first time I watched it. Lolol. Great reaction, looking forward to the next! 😀

Lol idk how involved you guys were in the Buffy fandom/comms back then, but there were legit arguments deconstructing this episode's value at the time. The majority definitely skewed in favor of Band Candy, but the people who hated it *really* hated it. 😂

I love this episode so much too. Out of all of it, my favorite line is Snyder yelling, "Woah, Summers, you drive like a spaz!" :D The accent young Giles uses in this episode is Anthony Head's actual accent. He puts on the more posh accent for Giles usually.

I loled at your angry face when Willow and Xander were flirting :-D I love tis episode too. Trivia: 1.) This is the first episode to be written by Jane Espenson. 2.) Christophe Beck’s compositions for this episode were included in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Score" album. 3.) According to the "Sunnydale High Yearbook" novel, the chocolate sale earned $600,000 for the band.
