The thing with Daryl is that he doesn't *need* to chop up bodies to achieve his goals. He could have just resurrected one of them (although that would have also been heinous, considering how unhappy Daryl is with his afterlife). He himself is made of only one person, why does she need to be multiple people? At the end of the day, while I empathize with Daryl and Chris, they weren't just in it to make Daryl less lonely, they had to take it a step further and make her both the "perfect woman" and so horrific looking that she couldn't go outside. I'd bet anything that if they had killed Cordelia and sewed her head onto the bodies and resurrected her, she still wouldn't have stayed with Daryl.
