If I was writing the reigniting of Stefan & Elena ... I wouldn't put all the heated scenes between Damon & Elena. I don't blame Damon for embracing his selfish nature. Even Stefan said he would regret the choice for the rest of his life. But it always bugs me that Stefan couldn't have pulled Matt out... but also rip Elena's seat belt off so she could just follow them up. I do know why, of course... they wanted the Elena as a vampire twist. But they spend so much time arguing under water about taking Matt... Elena was still alert... they could've both been saved. So I wish that had been filmed better.

That scene of Elena remembering when Damon told her he loved her back in season 2 got me in a CHOKEHOLD. Season 4 baby let's go.
