Jim has, once more, done an amazing interpretation. His ability to generate the right voice for each character just knocks me out. He nailed Gale and Whisper -- just the right degree of protective bravado for the former and introverted concern in the latter. The scenes with Jahir and Lisinthir were exquisitely performed. It would be so easy for that interlude to be too...precious. But he captures Jahir's ambivalence and fascination so well. Lisinthir is rendered with his signature wry humor coupled with love and attraction. But what struck me most was the undercurrent of danger -- this is no tame Eldritch, and Jahir is excruciatingly aware of that fact. Electric.
