And no, that's not sarcasm!

I do not love Patreon as a content provision system. From things you all have mentioned, you don't love it either, particularly the poor commenting system, and the fact that the app's gotten harder to use.

However! the Patreon Wordpress plugin works, which means I can now post to Wordpress instead. You login with your Patreon credentials to see the content. If I do that, though, the only content that will end up here is a weekly recap of what happened on my website, because in keeping with Patreon's weird blind spots, there's no cross-post feature.

So now, you get to tell me what you prefer! This is really important, so I'm hoping lots of you answer. I want this to be a great experience for you! And not to waste my effort on things you don't enjoy.

So please, click a button! :D

I appreciate the books that I’ve purchased that you have written, and I love your daily lunch bag art. I also realize that my little $1 monthly contribution is costing you, so I apologize for that. My son is writing a book on Patreon that is not SciFi but since it is set in the SanFran, Oakland area, you might find it interesting. I wish you the best, and will be happy to abide by any decisions you make.

It's not that I "don't look at the vontent," because I do... but, you need to use whatever interface you feel works best for you, and if that's a WP plugin on your blog, so be it.

Another vote for I like things in my email. Sometimes I'm away from the internet for days on end and I find that having to log in somewhere else to catch up quickly falls by the wayside (that's what happened to LiveJournal for me!) But I reliably check my inbox. I don't mind having to click through for content, so long as I have an idea of what that content is and the link works (which sometimes doesn't work on Patreon!)

I support lots of people on Patreon, so I prefer to go see the goodies posted in one place. Having to create accounts and log into lots of different places would mean I’d miss things. Weekly posts are okay I guess, but you have SO MUCH content that I worry that once a week would be overwhelming. I could see myself putting off dealing with that giant once a week post until I had more time (which is never) and then missing the content anyway.

This is a hard one, because patreon isn't great... But I voted for it because I read all the posts that come through as an email. I actually never log into patreon, well, first time in months to comment on this of course :P

Never had much luck with Wordpress, and I love the emails so Patreon it is. My phone broke over a month to get a new one and thank the powers that be that I had the emails to get caught back up! But, reality is what works for you? What makes it easier for you to do all you do and keep in touch with us? As painful as that may be we all found you one way or another, we will follow or find you again!

Echoing a few of the comments above, it's not so much love for Patreon as it is that I love getting the content in email. The lunchbags really make my day.

I like getting the emails via Patreon, and clicking through to the Patreon site. And like Holly, I tend to have some issues with WordPress. (Not really sure why. It's not been important enough for me to figure out... I will if you go there however.) I do like the LJ/DreamWidth format (reminding myself, I need to start logging onto DreamWidth again!) for blogs. So, right now, I think I am ABSTAIN, because I like a bit of both of the first two choices.

I do enjoy the daily patron updates, but would be just as happy with an email mailing list, daily, weekly, monthly or whenever. I tend to pay more attention to the monthly summaries.

I am also one who has more than one Patreon Artist to view and prefer one place to go to in my daily perusals.

I like getting the daily patreon emails!

As many have said, I will follow the content; but I do miss your old posts on LJ.
