Welcome to July, everyone! As usual, the beginning of the month kicks off my progress reports, both writing and sales/business. Today we get the former.

In Extremis has moved off this chart now that it's done. I've replaced it with the synopsis project for the Princes' Game series, which I'm estimating is going to come in at about 20-25K--yes, really, that long. I'll be serializing it here as I finish it, so you can see what I'm about. Both From Ruins and Coracle saw no progress over June, because I was completely wrapped up in finishing Dreamhearth. This is my usual mode of operating: I pick a project and run it to the end goal, ignoring all the other projects that are trying to tackle me. >.>

So in June, Dreamhearth gained just under 36,000 words, which polished it off. I anticipate it hitting retailers in a week and a half or so. The other project that got significant work was the synopsis project, which jumped up almost 8200 words (starting from zero, in that case).

My focus for the next couple of weeks is going to be getting Dreamhearth out and finishing up the Princes' Game synopsis guide. After that, I'll pick a new project to steamroll. *nods*

Other news:

  • The "Who is Willing" audiobook has hit retailers! You can find it on iTunes and Audible, as usual.
  • Wednesday, Pearl in the Void's audio finishes serialization here on Patreon. The narrator's starting work on the third book, A Bloom in the North, this month.
  • I am tentatively planning a Kickstarter later this year for Dreamhearth's print edition. I will keep you posted!

Finally, having run my business seminar at Anthrocon, I have concluded that I really need my business book out in an edition people can buy. As I mentioned when discussing why that hasn't happened yet, I have a lot of clean-up work to do on it... so my plan is to serialize it on Patreon. Reposting it will give me a chance to examine the graphics and see if they need to be re-scanned at print resolution (or re-done entirely), and I can also do things like add worksheets and checklists (always good!) pertinent to each chapter.

This material will be available only to subscribers, so if you're trying to decide whether to join the Patreon, there's a thing. (Remember, if you're low on cash, our grants fund has you covered. Check this post to find out how you can request a $12 grant to subscribe for a year. This fund was established by my fans to help other fans participate in the community, because my community is awesome. Thank you so much you all for being so amazing.)

And that's the progress round-up for June! The business post will go up later this week--that's subscriber only, as usual, so if you want the nitty gritty on my sales numbers and my analysis of how various promotions/events effected my numbers, you'll have to toss me a buck.

More to come!
