One of the things I do want to use the tablet for is drawing more of those teaser graphics for my books. (Did I show you those? They're over on DeviantArt if you missed any of them.) Anyway, last night I started this one for Dreamhearth, which is only 13 scenes from completion (go jaguar, go jaguar, go go, go jaguar) in which Vasiht'h is looking adorably starstruck. This is okay, since Dreamhearth is mostly about him (the way Mindline was mostly about Jahir).

If there's a part of a drawing that will make the entire piece useless unless it's right, I usually do that part first, because why waste the time if you mangle the thing that needs to be right? And in most pictures, that's the face. Jahir's impossible face for this one, because his jawline has changed like three times throughout his visual history. But this time I got it right. Now I can actually put his hair in front of it without thinking 'I got to hide my AWFUL MISTAKE.' Lol.
