Thus, an epic episode. The, longest, maybe, ever? (<----- just making sure your reading the book.......)

True and utter madness, like nothing we've ever read before on 372 Pages. Seriously. It is not hyperbole; this is deranged, and you must read along, if only to prove we're not going slowly insane.

Assignment: Read the next two chapters.

Also, a large number of our episodes were removed from spotify because the old RoFF song triggered an automatic flag. We're working on seeing if we can get them back, but for now you'll need to get those episodes somewhere else. Our apologies.

I can't _believe_ I forgot to write in with this one, but when I glossed over the one-off sentence containing "there was the war with Nubia" or whatever, my first silly thought (as I felt a goofy grin, etc etc) was of That One Scene from Chasing Amy: "What's a Nubian?".

It's probably different eras as much as anything, but something that struck me that you didn't mention was how clearly influenced by anime this book felt. Catgirls, high schoolers at the center of the universe, the fantastic and the mundane side-by-side without comment or any attempt at coherence... it's all right out of the Japanese stuff that geeks were watching when I was young.
