Greetings from Nashville! I spent all summer growing Carolina Reaper peppers in my garden, and decided to bring the first one I picked to Nashville to share with two guys who will eat anything, Mike and Kevin Murphy.

We did not get video of the actual moment when the heat hit but all three of us immediately realized it was the hottest thing we've ever eaten. Which, you know, duh: it's the world's hottest pepper. You've got to expect that. Mike and Kevin swallowed their grain-of-rice sized chunk of pepper, I spit mine out after chewign it, but the effect was still pronounced and long lasting. If you ate Bob Honey Who Just Do Stuff, it would be similar levels of painful and unpleasant.

I have several more of these on the vine back home, as well as 80% of one remaining here, so if you see me in Nashville, I may have it in my pocket and am willing to share. Lastly, Lauren took a short video of me probably ten minutes after eating. Content warning: drool https://youtu.be/8FDazoHnFho

Holy cow. I ate a chicken heart once, but do not have the stomach to attempt ghost pepper territory.

Take one pepper, deseed, blend with a cup of mango. Then mix that with 4lb of mango finely chopped. Mix in 1 lb onions and cilantro to taste. It makes an amaaaaaaazing salsa.
