It's been a pretty quiet week this week with both Braden and Justin moving, so this weekly will be brief.

Short-term Roadmap

Our short term roadmap looks something like this, in order:

  1. Improve User Onboarding (Example Projects, Starter Projects, Better hints and blank states)
  2. Editor V3

We hope to finish both of these As Fast As Humanly Possible. A lot of progress has already been made on the new Editor, and many of the associated design-system challenges have been ironed out.

If you want to see the long-tail of planned features (not in any particular order), you can check out our new Features Page.

Example Projects

Our focus right now is creating Example Projects for LegendKeeper. These projects will show up in the project creation screen and be accessible by anyone. The idea is to showcase what a fleshed out LegendKeeper project might look like.

We hope that these examples will be able to quickly demonstrate to new users the possibilities of LegendKeeper. They might also serve as inspirational jumping off points for anyone: we'll make sure all the project assets are available for you to use however you want.

Here are some sneak peaks of Adam's example project: Corvus Canticum's Natural History. It attempts to demonstrate an encyclopedia-style wiki structure, unusual uses of the Atlas, and what you can accomplish using only public-domain artwork.

Blog Posts

We have been ramping up our media production. We are experimenting with a wide variety of things to discover what resonates with worldbuilders and what we can do uniquely well.
