Forest Fort - Still Image (Patreon)

I've been back in some forests lately, and it has made me want to paint some giant trees again. Here is a new road that has been made, that has also been protected, or guarded by the newly built outpost. Are these soldiers keeping something out, or keeping something in? Hopefully locations like this make for some good roleplaying opportunities for a party that unexpectedly finds the road blocked by a stone outpost.
