Our half-orc protagonist grew up mainly around humans. After his mother died, he and his father lived in a fairly normal, mainly human, town. Always the outsider, he felt limited by his surroundings and made the recent decision to move to Orcwood, the historic capital of the old orcish empire. Where better to get in touch with his orcish heritage? He doesn't currently have a job so he's staying at the Young Male Orcs Association until he finds something he wants to do. And everyday there's plenty he "wants to do."
