FUNCTIONAL PSYCHIATRIST CAREER V2 - DOWNLOAD (Patreon)

This mod adds a functional Psychiatrist career to The Sims 4.  Includes ownable venue, add new clients, functional client symptoms, and treatments.

How To Set Up A Psychiatric Office
Place or design your office. You can download this pre-built office to work from if wanted.  https://www.patreon.com/posts/psychiatrist-66257809

Make sure you have just one venue list from either zerbu or basemental.  The custom venues will not show up without them.  If you can't see the venue list, change to different one.  If you still can't find custom venues, skip the purchase process and operate the office from a regular generic lot.  It'll work the same.

Also be aware that purchased venues Revert back to generic.  They'll be generic lots even after you purchase them.

Next, Give your Sim the Psychiatrist CAS Trait located in the lifestyle category.

From A BASEGAME computer (All In One Power PC - ONLY)

Find the Psychiatric Office menu and select "Purchase Psychiatric Office".

Go through the purchasing process.  You will not see the purchase interaction if you haven't setup a venue prior with the generic or Psychiatric Office venue type.

Transfer money.  Note: remember not to use any of the Get To Work Retail Business UI except to sell the venue.  Don't try to hire anyone etc.

Find Clients
You will need to go out and meet Sims and add them as a client.

This is an immediate action without notificiation.

Add as many as you like.  It's probably best to do this before you open your office.  You can remove clients too after you've added your first client.

How To Run The Office
From the computer, Psychiatric Office menu select "Start Client Session".  This will spawn a client.  The client that spawns might be random even though you've selected a specific client.  

Evaluate The Client
Ask the client questions about the mental health symptoms they're experiencing.  Be aware that each client will display symptoms and might jump up to go cry, experience seeing things, and act out.  Some evaluation questions will loot another symptom trait and unlock the ability to offer medication for it.  

You can continue the session or end it on the computer.  Ending the session will force all other Sims off the lot.  

You earn money when you offer medication or send the client on the two rabbithole treatment options which is "Send To Group Therapy", or "Send To Mental Healing Institution".  

Clients will have responses for each evaluation question you ask them.  It'll guide you to what kind of help to give them.

How To Install
-Unzip file.  Keep all files in the folder.  Place the folder in your Sims 4 Mods Folder.
-Sims 4 game options, mods and script mods need to be enabled.
-Requires the latest version of Sims 4
-If there isn't a zip file, just download all the files below, place them in a folder, then your Sims 4 mods folder.
