I was surprised about the bassheavy sound of the small A28, although adjusted it sounds pretty nice and in some aspects seems even more correct than my A36.

I will shoot another video with both speakers placed equally. I also unboxed the A48 in the meantime and will also put them against the A36 shortly in a next video.

Please let me know your thoughts, which you think sounds better and which one you prefer. Also curious how you like the image quality and extreme wide angle of the GoPro Hero 11 mini.

The A36 sound much nicer to me, less boomy and more open.

I bought A28 and returned it. There were two issues: 1. The sound: It was OK, but just that. I felt like it's meant to work with sub, NOT that bass was not enough, but the opposite - when you switch them to full range mode, then the vocals seam to "sink" (try to switch the full mode on/off). Also the bass is not weak but it's not "tight" enough for me (which is kind expected for this size) 2. Connectivity problems: I could not get it to work my new Sony TV (using HDML-eArc)! It was not broken because I managed (after few attempts) to make it work with my old Sony TV. It's not also the TV as I had HK soundbar connected that working fine. It's probably some not good compatibility. In general not bad, especially for the size and price, but was not was exactly what I was hoping for + connectivity issues made me take the final decision to return it.

Nothing yet ... From the compact speakers I wanted to try KEF LSX II. They are appraised by everyone as the best compact speaker, but are very expensive. From soundbars: I haven't heard yet only the hi end ones from Denon and Sennheiser. All the rest sound like crap to me apart from Samsung 990B which is the only one "OK". If I can't find anything great may end with that one.

I only heard the LS50 Wireless II but found them quite overhyped. They sounded hollow to me.
