Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 7 - episode #3

Nice video. I must say that I think that the bass of the Onyx can be tiring after a while. Also the lack of an app and wifi is a dealbreaker for me. I still enjoy the Marshall Stockwell 2, it is a easy to listen speaker in the house or at the porch. I listen in my living with the Stockwell put in a corner, like you put the Onyx and the bass is just right.

Many thanks for the nice comparisons of the Onyx Studio7. But enthusiasm got lost somehow on my side. Regarding size and price (and my personal requirements) I will stay with the speakers which i already own (and use). I can understand you when you say you will not keep it, Oluv.

sometimes a speaker can grow on you, like it was the case with the Sonos Roam which I didn't like that much in the beginning. But in case of the Onyx 7 I simply think they didn't try hard enough to make something really outstanding.

Onyx 7 vs Sony SRS-XB33 vs Anker SoundCore Motion Boom ?

The Marshall is still my overall favourite, just this openness and no kind of boomy mess when you increase bass. Thanks oluv, many thanks.

And btw what song is this on 8:25 ?

If you combine the impressive bass of Onyx Studio with the Sonos as a treble speaker you will get a better Stockwell in terms of frequency response. Still Stocwell II is unbeaten for it's stage spaciousness magic.
