Did you manage to get hold of the partybox 310? As here in the Netherlands they are sold out everywhere

Also here there are none and I am not really interested. Someone claimed that it doesn’t sound that great anyhow

That was me! It sounds to some degree impressive but the treble has some comb filtering and it sounds peaky its i think a really strange response. Like there was some dip in the 8 to 10khz region

I had lot's of speakers too, miles away from how many you had you have had an incredible amount! But i do to some degree know how a speaker should sound and not like the partybox 310 does. I have 2 boombox 2's but will also send them back as they are too heavy for what they offer and don't sound that great with this heavy bass. Although they defenitly improved after the update. Might try the sony one next im curious how that one performs but knowing Sony i think i wont keep it even 2 days haha

I may get the Sony over the next weekend. Was at the Mediamarkt to try it out today and was not that impressed. Quite a lot mid bass and treble appeared muddy. Maybe they will also borrow me the Boombox 2 and I will try doing the update and compare both

That would be an interesting comparison! Yes the boombox does slightly better now as it keeps a bit more bass and has slightly less of this pumping effect which took away the mid bass, its still there but a bit less strong. Its also slightly louder maybe 1 max 2 db. I got the idea that they changed the overall sound. but i don't have any measuring mic here so i can't confirm it all.

I got the same impression about the sony when i heard it at media markt. Unfortunately had only 1 minute of listening as it was empty

A friend of mine was really impressed by this new xiaomi speaker, not sure how it sounds but it looks quite ok. Hi Olaf ! Please do me a favor. Don`t waste your time. There is no need for this. It´s okay if the Cambridges are nothing special for you and have no potential. I did not say they are special. It`s better you make videos with stuff that interests you. Greetings Matthias

Ich habe den Tronsmart Studio hier und finde, dass er absoluter Schrott ist! Geboosteter Oberbass um 120 Hz und darunter fällt er ziemlich steil ab. Unter 80 Hz kommt gar nichts mehr... Und ohne diesen schrottigen "Bassboost" klingt er total dünn...

I am not sure I would invest that much effort into it like I did with the Free Pro which took me weeks, because I am quite sure I won’t like the fit of these, as I didn’t like the first version either. I was asked to tune that one but simply didn’t like the comfort and how they felt inside my ear thus why should I work on a product that wouldn’t satisfy me personally. But the handling and size etc from the Free Pro were the key points to choose that one even if it should be worse acoustically and hardware wise

Aaah Thankyou that's very helpful. I wish they'd do another run of Free Pro Oluv's. I emailed begging them to do so but they said they wouldn't 😔

well, in my opinion it is their mistake. If oluv really started producing their own headphones and speakers at the same prices as tribit / anker / earfun etc, these companies would start losing customers.
