If you can compete with VIFA you are the king…

I wanted to put these 2 speakers side by side just for fun but actually I am quite surprised about the fight both are having here. I did without any labels here as you can always hear perfectly which one is playing at the given moment.

This is also my last concluding video about the JBL Partybox 110, I think everything was said and done to demonstrate the qualities of this speaker.

I want to sell my Aiwa Exos-9 because I use speaker only outdoors and the more I listening Aiwa the more I am missing that great deep bass from PB100 I had before. Currently I am completely indecisive if to buy PB100 with more enjoyable bass or PB110 with better clarity and sound dispersion. PB110 looks like something between Aiwa and PB100 (Sound quality: Aiwa>PB110>PB100, Bass: PB100>PB110>Aiwa). Decision between PB100 and PB110 is really extremely hard for me. I also asked JBL team about bass adjustment update and got answer below: Your feedback will be communicated to the proper department to improve our current and future product line and future software updates. At this time, I do not have a time or date for when these updates will be, however, if you have the JBL Partybox App installed on your mobile device this will advise you when there is any updates available.

Love that you sneaked in the Sonos comparison at the end. I noticed you had a Hemai remix. You gotta hear this by him! : https://youtu.be/K4v1fchCjU4 👌🎶😇

There is not much difference when it comes to mids/highs The P110 is flatter thanks to its deeper bass i think it would be more comparable to a Vifa Copenhagen 2.0 The Helsinki is still very decent for the size

Not the perfect place to ask, but do you know any good PortaPro alternatives? Good REASONABLY balanced REASONABLY detailed open on-ears. Both PortaPros and KPH30s have the same upper mids/lower treble dip, and it is a large dip, a big scoop out of the frequencies I know and love (and miss). Sennheiser USED to have their quality on-ears with a stellar response, but it has been discontinued for years, and now 100+ dollars used.

I would say 110, you could try some eq to reduce this mid bass slightly. If it doesn't satisfy you simply return it

Hi Oluv, pls compare "Fender Newport" and "Vifa Helsinki" later. Thank you and have a great day :)

oluvsgadgets

I did the some years ago, the Newport was fake, and it lost bass and dynamics way sooner. The Helsinki didn’t have a boosted mode back then though. The Newport was tuned nicely but it wasn’t as detailed as the Helsinki https://youtu.be/OjLoomMkSXk
