I shot a longer listening session with both immediately afterwards which I will post next time. But you should already get a first idea of the “improvements” from the PB110 here.

I like the new one

I'm curious what the outdoor test will be like. It seems like the bass difference is a bit noticeable, but not drastic.

Hi Oluv, thanks for your video. I think, that i read on reddit somewhere, that there is a FW Update available for the Pb 110, which should decrease the boomyness of the bass a little. If you trust this reddit user. But i cant find the thread right now. Have you checked, if there is an update available? I bought the Xtreme 3 recently and i was able to deactivate the startup tones with the jbl connect app on iOS. Maybe the Pb110 is also supported by the app and you are able to turn these boot noise off, too :).

Thank you for sharing! I have 2 PB100s and for some parties I hold with about 50 people, the 2 speakers are pretty much enough, although there are hotspots near the speakers and a lot quieter zones. I am considering getting 2 more partyboxes and I am sad to hear that the new PB doesn't have as nice a bass as the old. BTW, I have been meaning to tell you for a long time - I have run frequency response analysis on my PB100 and it doesn't have those annoying peaks in the highs that yours has. I believe it's worth noting in your future comments that the peaky highs may not be present for on other units. Currently neither of my 2 PB100s exhibits that issue that yours clearly has.
