I shot this a while back but there was no opportunity to post it until now.

I really liked the Jambox back then, although I preferred the FoxL, you can hear the difference in one of my very first videos on YouTube:

Some years later the Sonos Roam demonstrates quite well how much potential there still is in these small speakers. Let’s hope that in some years from now on even newer releases will easily outperform the Sonos like it does with the Jambox now.

I still have the 1st gen Jambox and it's still working great for my concalls.

Was there ever a 2nd gen? They only released the Big Jambox afterwards which didn’t impress me at all and a bit later the Mini Jambox

incredible difference

To me, the mini was like the 2nd gen lol, but got to love that acrylic box it comes in plus a free t-shirt.

I never got a t-shirt but I actually liked the first original box with a Ghettoblaster on top saying: “that was then”, and when opened the Jambox was inside saying: “this is now”

Hello. Have you tried the jbl flip 5? I noticed you liked the flip 4 some time ago.

oluvsgadgets

Only tried it in a store side by side with the Flip 4 and I somehow liked the Flip 4 more, the Flip 5 suffered from intermodulation and was quite directional.

I’m looking for a speaker (not to big) to take it in holiday, to listen music in tne hotel room and on the beach or at the pool. Any recommendations? Flip 5 seems to be a good idea…sonos room is a little bit to expensive…and not so good to be taken to the beach. Still…Sonos roam is temping…

I thought I would never buy Flip 5, but I just spend holidays with my friends Flip5 and I was surprised how well it managed. It has boosted bass wich is not too overwhelming on low levels(30-40%). But if you need to listen louder I would not recommend it.

Would You consider comparing Sonos Roam and Tribit MaxSound Plus? It 's interesting to see how it compares by loudness, sound definition, physical size etc.

I already did in my first videos: https://youtu.be/UUkStLm4S70 https://youtu.be/mbYsxgScTz8 But it was playing with its default settings here
