Thanks for the video, Oluv! To anyone who have tried Q30. I'm thinking of getting it for my 11 year old. I'm a bit concerned that they are going to be too large as the band does not seam to be adjustable for small head sizes. Hope someone could help to clarify that. Thanks! :-)

Based on the Youtube comments so far many seem to prefer the B&W… wtf? Maybe my ears are really that off!

Klasse Video ! Deine Earfun sind deutlich besser in der abstimmung, gehört mit meinen Monolith M350.

Die kef's klingen echt schrecklich..

To my ears KEF is absolute garbage, Samsung if it has an eq to adjust it a bit I could live with maybe, but Earfun takes it easy, its incredible how natural you were able to make them sound. Now I really wonder how they would sound in my ears, because most of BT in ears I ever tried, sound like treble cannons in my ears.

KEF sounds the worst to me. B&W quite boomy and buds pro with some wierd treble. Earfun sounds pretty good and closest to original recording.

After hearing each sample, I can honestly say I felt exactly as you described your experience. I think part of the confusion in the YouTube comments is because the comparison is to *each other* most of the time rather than the original track. So, going from B&W then to KEF, I felt the same way, but that’s because the B&W *was* the reference sound signature. It wasn’t until after the OE Pro, when you played the original, that I could see why the OE Pro is my favorite of the bunch. So, I wonder if you need to start with the original so we know what it’s supposed to sound like, then alternate between a headphone and the original again, then the next headphone, then the original, etc. For this specific video, I realize it would have made for a rather long comparison, but I think it would have made it waaaaaay more obvious from the get go that the B&W are overdoing the upper bass, that the KEF is too harsh in the treble, etc. Maybe try something like that next time? I’m pretty sure it would have clarified the comparison much better for me. My 2 cents. Keep up the awesome work!

The KEF sound the worst by far.

I even wanted to omit the original recording and just compare all to each other as for me the coloration is pretty obvious anyhow, and while the Earfun also colours the sound, to me it sounds even more pleasant than the reference track in some cases. But as I said in the video you need to have a reference in mind. Otherwise people will think the more bassheavy and treble boosted one sounds better which indeed was the result.

Im getting a bit confused to how well i hear the earfun compared to you now. When i do a sinesweep it follows the measurement with only a peak at 7-7,5 then drops a bit at 9khz before going back up at 10. The etymotics go through this whole region without any peaks and valleys but with the hd600 and q30 i do get something similar to the earfun. So my question is do you pretty much get the same thing with the earfuns as with the etymotics or do you still get some volume changes like the hd600 and q30? They all sound good to me but the etymotics seem the most correct and realistic because they are so perfectly smooth.

I think there is a chance they might be too big but i think i saw Oluvs son wear them in a video.

you should do an anker soundcore life q30/35 oluv edition.

I asked them if they wanted to include my EQ within the presets as all their presets are close to unusable but they were not interested thus it’s quite unlike that there will ever be some kind of collaboration with them

I should try the Etymotic again, haven’t used it for quite a while as I have issues with that deep insertion.

I always wanted to say, that it would be great if there would be the original track played between all single mic samples. At least once you already did that.

Oluv, dis you measure the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro? Which of the EQ is the most usable or closest to your reference curve? The normal one is ok, bit a bit unnatural.
