Got this from Mu6 for a review and although not great to my surprise it still sounds far better than that popuar Aftershokz crap which is nearly twice the price.

Have a listen by yourself.

Interesting piece of technology, but if I want my ears to stay open I just use the regular airpods, which still sound a lot better than these conduction contraptions. Thanks for a nice video Oluv, hope you're doing well!

Thanks Olaf ! I own the AS650, which is an old version from aftershock, micro USB charging. I use it on my bike to stay alert, while listening podcasts or radio. This tech is very hard to adopt I must say. I like it for the safety more than the HiFi for sure. But there is a thing here I would mention. Mine has 2 listening modes (switching by holding both up and down volume buttons up to 3 seconds, one with bass boosted by default, which results in the vibrations you talked about, at medium to high volume level, and the other one, in a way that is natural when you block your ear canal with plugs or your finger (not easy to run then...). In this mode, every "overtoned" frequencies are toned down to be more natural. Then it become a regular low grade headset. I think we have reach a limit here anyway testing-wise. Could you confirm that the recording match your listening experience ? I'm curious.

I compared the recording to the real sound shortly and I think it was quite close, surprisingly close. The Aftershokz definitely sounded way more toyish and somehow broken compared to the Mu6, although already that one was quite bad to begin with. I think the Bose Glasses should easily outperform both of them, although those are of course even more expensive. I could maybe get a loaner of the Bose Glasses to compare it to the Mu6.
