Sorry for my absence but I was quite busy lately and just finished my tuning for the upcoming Earfun Free Pro "Oluv edition". Also" photo shooting" for the packaging had to be done etc. (in reality just some selfies)

I think if my tuning translates well into the DSP the IEM will sound very nice. I was working on a raw untuned version and I am really satisfied with the result so far and will keep you updated about the progress.

Very nice! Can’t wait to hear them!

Oluv, when it will be available for purchase?

oluvsgadgets

I don’t know probably end of February or March. I need to confirm the final firmware with my tuning etc.

Those buds look interesting, looking forward to hearing your full review 😊

That's great,How much will they cost ?

Anonymous

Might i buy one of theese, i want ur signature on the package like on an book of a writer to mark the day i will finally hear the sound tuned by the one legendary sound reviewer!

Anonymous

Finally a manufacturer listens and uses your great ears, taste and experience to polish a product to shine and differ from the mass! Hope the price will be reasonable. 👍 Any news about microphone / call quality?

oluvsgadgets

I doubt they will be much more than the regular ones. Maybe 10$ more expensive but I reallly don’t know as I got no details.

waiting for review and comparison :D and price of course :P

Hopefully earfun will be able to get ur tuning correct in the final version this time..they messed up the treble in the original version...

A lot of company need your help to make their speakers great like jbl, bose, aiwa, sony... you would be a big opportunity for them because your talent would make their speakers pretty decent, i mean balanced, clear, enjoyable well without compromising the power like a lot does unfortunately

It seems after all the problems that you have faced off, the things going in the right direction. Good start for 2021 if a manufacturer wants your knowledge to make there products better. Maybe there are more to come...

Regardless of the sound, the huge logo on each bud is ugly. Apple seems to be the only one who doesn’t force their customers to be walking ads. It’s a bummer, really. Can you „ask“ them to remove the logos? Also, hopefully the microphone is good. I think for many people the entire package has to be convincing to buy headphones. I don’t want to own several pairs but one that does everything right and at least as good as cable headsets.

I bought these and returned them as it was not good out of the box and no app to adjust. They have potential and I’m willing to try it with your tuning. Let us know when it’s available.

Apple does have the advantage of having (by far) the most popular earbuds, everyone knows them. So yea they don't have to add a logo in it, as the entire earbud itself is basically the logo due to it being so very recognizable. Unfortunately the others don't have this so they'll probably keep adding the logos which I also don't like. It is what it is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I'm curious about the sound of these Earfuns though and I'll probably end up buying them. I used to have the Sony WF1000XM3 but I returned them. Good features but I couldn't get the sound right for me.

Anonymous

Sounds good (pun intended)! I'll probably end up buying them! I am assuming you'll get some form of commission per purchase? If so, things might finally be going more into the right direction for you now.

I got these and the Fiil T1 pro. They are the same built. The Fiil does have an app though. Only not yet available in the global version of the Fiil+ app, only in the Chinese version. Can Earfun be asked implementing your settings in my already purchased earfun free pro´s? An app?

Anonymous

The FIIL T1 pro are very convincing. . Anc is oké with the right tips.... They are very comfortable en the sound is good. I like the overall sound of the Fiil headphones. My first decent headphones were the FIIL Diva pro (canviis) in 2016. Still one of my favorite headphones. I like the FIIL products soundwise for what they offer.

Anonymous

I might give these a try. I just don't know why they don't have an app for their products.

oluvsgadgets

Do you use the T1 Pro from iOS or Android? Where did you buy them? I would be interested in hearing a pair and compare to the Earfun

Anonymous

I don't mind buying the Oluv' tuned earfun to.. I already have the Fiil t1 pro and the stock tuned earfun. Nice to hear the difference...

oluvsgadgets

Could you please describe the difference in some words? Because the stock Earfun sounded terrible to me. But the raw untuned one was ok thus it was not that hard to squeeze something really decent out of it. I don’t want to appear blatant now, but for me it’s maybe the best inear I have had so far. Maybe just because I tuned it for myself? Who knows but therefore I am really curious to hear others’ opinion.

Made a quick comparison with a jazz track, "boz scaggs-thank you". I noticed that is depends how far they fit inside my ears. With long tips, more inserted, there is more bass and the case won't close and no charging.. Now I use the biggest flat umbrella jabra tips on the earfun. Big aukey round umbrella eartips on the Fill. The Fiil sound somewhat smoother and warmer to my liking. More soundstage. I don't use the app. Flat eq. The earfun have more recessed mids and a little elevated bass. Less soundstage either. The Fiil sound somewhat nicer and warmer to me.....Could still be the difference in eartips though.

oluvsgadgets

Why didn’t you use the stock tips? I tried some but found the original Earfun tips to be best although I am talking about my tuned version now. the original I didn’t quite care as the sound was just not good.

Anonymous

They fell out and for me not that comfortable after a while... The earfun I can't tune.. So I had to experiment to get a acceptable sound out of them.. I'll switch to the stocktips when I purchase tuned ones 😀. I won't mess with that tuning.

On Android..

hey oluv, do you know when the Earfun Free Pro - Oluv edition will be released in germany? which wireless in ear bud <100€ do you recommend the most?

oluvsgadgets

None to be honest, this one will sound so unique that I simply cannot recommend any other one. The limited edition will be distributed directly over Earfun and price will be just marginally higher than the regular version. I am not sure about the availability, but it will be probably end of February.

Anonymous

These seem intriguing, I've had a hard time shopping around for nice tws earbuds but I'm wondering, how limited will the run be? I'm concerned because with the last oluv edition of the earfun free, the left piece stopped working after 1.5 months and I was out of luck.

Anonymous

This gets me pretty excited. Right now i use the tribit flybuds 1 on the go because of how practical they are even though the sound is far from perfect. If these are similar with better tuning it would be a no brainer.

oluvsgadgets

the old Earfun Free was built quite weak, I dropped them once and they fell apart. The new one seems way more solid. and I am sure Earfun will provide some kind of support once they should really break.
