Like the idea of recommending a reference headphone for patreons. Never thought to see you with a phone without headphone jack ;-)

"Baby Empyrean" sounds very interesting!

Oluv, I remember you saying that you're done with earbuds. But maybe there would be a good idea "testing out" some of them. Like Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro and giving your opinion on them? After buying Q30's with ANC I don't want to spend alot of money on Sony's like WF-1000X Or maybe you can recomend some resources where I can research this topic more? Thanks and keep it up. You're great and honest "reviewer" (yeah, I know you're technicaly not a reviewer)

you can check Crinacle's site. Although also he is quite critical and I think favors the Sony as being one of the best TWS inears: https://crinacle.com/guide/tws/

I also bought a lightning-3.5mm adapter which seems to work pretty fine with my ER2XR. I had some cheap 3rd party one which was horrible, lots of hiss, lots of interference, but the original one from Apple is really Ok.

Hi Oluv, thanks to you I’ve bought the Q30, Lypertek, and Tribit mini. Your opinion is highly valued. Much appreciated.

@Artiom I would recommend this site for earbuds reviews: https://www.headphonesty.com/

I'm curious what you would think of the Dali IO-6 headphones. Not the best ANC, but the sound is amazing i think.

it must sound rather weird, I have never heard it though: https://headphonedatabase.com/oratory?ids=170

HiOluv ,could you please sometimes play metal/rock tracks in sound demos here on patreon ? If so i can recomend one instrumental metal band Deaf Election they should be on apple music also as spotify.

Are there plans to review the newly released Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro? They are discounted right now to 80€

oluvsgadgets

I haven’t really planned it; as the Liberty 2 Pro was such a disaster. But I might ask Anker if they would send me one. But looking at the measurements from Rtings I wouldn’t have high hopes: https://www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/anker/soundcore-liberty-air-2-truly-wireless

Why buy iphone when there is a current flagship with headphone jack from sony - xperia 5 ii. In some markets it comes even bundled with the wf-1000xm3 'for free'. Xperia phones had stereo speakers, stereo mics, steadyshot, waterproofness and surround sound effects (which you liked on the airpod max) but system wide for all output devices...all features since around 2013(!!) iphones had none of them for a long time. But somehow still everyone is buying apple products. Paying more and getting less. I don't want to criticize anyone for their purchase decisions though, just a few facts from a tech (and audio) guy's perspective.

Back in 2010 to 2013 era that was true and had its reasons (they prioritized multitasking above UI animations and so on..) but nowadays with Android 10 and 11 thats quite past and rather subjective. The 90 or 120hz displays on todays Androids even feel snappier and smoother than current iphones, even on a midranger like the Realme 6 Pro for example. But it has to be a phone with at least a snapdragon 720 or above (cpu) - you can't expect a sub $150 Android phone to perform as well as a $700 and up flagship. (I avoid mediatek and midrange exynos cpu equipped phones like the plague; they really can get buggy or slow) I don't know which Android phone you had, but Xperia phones reportedly have the lowest crash rates in the Android world. Also, they win each year in app and web loading time speedtests against iphones.

Speaking of the iPhone 12 mini, have you revisited the Jaybird Freedom/X4 recently? Because Bluetooth connectivity may possibly be improved with newer phones, as I have the Jaybird X3 and when I had a samsung galaxy s8, I had Bluetooth connectivity issues with them but then when I upgraded to the Samsung galaxy s10e, the connectivity on my X3s improved significantly and I now get far less Bluetooth dropouts with them and I'm actually using them again

I've been recommending your videos like crazy on this very popular US site. LOL. Check it out. https://slickdeals.net Some might be from there and they are all relevant posts. Any headphone comparison video on the sennheisers, akg, bose, sony. i.e. popular headphones. No one does sound demo comparisons like you and you are most HONEST of all the reviewers so I had to refer them to your videos. They are well received and people are opening their eyes to what "good" headphones are.

Maybe I should have switched to Android instead but I never understood their concept with those various screen layouts. I was iOS user since the very first iPhone thus I never really changed. I have many friends who switched back and forth but now are back on iOS again.
