Der Gewinner dieses Jahr, für den Preis und was er kann. Da konnten alle anderen einpacken. Definitiv bester Allrounder.

w KING D NEIN NEIN NEIN.. ok i tried but really even it's little brother the d8 blows this toy away. Imo the motion boom is nice but it would really been better if came even with a single tweeter(even like from motion+) and give more power on the drivers on bass i would say, even if it would increase it's price, also the bass seems to have similiar issues as xb33(more at half vol., but maybe fixeable with the eq) but well its still a nice and powerfull speaker. Would like to hear it against fugoo xl pls hahahha ik i am always asking to hear the same speaker its just think they are quite compareable, other than that w'd be xb40(since it was also a speaker w/2 fullrange drivers) but then again similar to teufel w'd be more compressed at higher lvls. Also have a happy new year in case you don't upload nothing more this year!!

I should try the firmware update but it seems quite complex and everything is in Chinese

I know that the w-king has released a firmware update for the d9, and it should sound fuller, but for the size it's disappointing in terms of sound quality. Even the old d8 sounds better than the d9, i think. The motion boom have a nice bass, but i still prefer the motion+ indoors.

Wonderful sound signature from Motion Boom. I’m still scratching my head how did Anker manage to achieve this without any intermodulation distortion on full range drivers. Probably with very clever DSP processing. Quite impressive. Definitely a no brainer speaker, if not the dummy work of design department on it. Darn thing, how I find it ugly looking 🙈😂

Just add a bit of treble with a system wide eq such as wavelet or equalizerapo on the Teufel and it'll blow the anker out of the water. The anker doesn't seem to have lots of resolution and sounds quite exhausting to my ears. Will skip that one. 🙂

The Teufel is 3 times the price. I think 2 Booms in stereo would easily blow it out of the water and you would still have money left for a Q30. I personally prefer the Anker over the Teufel also because it’s lighter and more portable and the sound is also nicer to my ears.

Is there a full review planned for this speaker? I have your channel to thank for owning 2 wonderful Soundcore products already, and this looks like an interesting addition when wanting to play a bit louder outdoors. Great content as always!

Thanks Oluv. How would you compare or choose between the Motion Boom and the Rave Neo? The main difference I noticed in your videos is that the Neo has dynamic bass for low levels which is nice, but doesn’t sound good above 70%. Not sure how that compares to the max usable volume of the Motion Boom, or other differences.

I also have a question for you. What do you consider as the best BackPack speaker right now. In terme of power (especially on bass) but also in term of sound accuracy, price to perf/ratio and global experience with the speaker. Knowing that I already have a Vifa Oslo, two Soundcore Motion Boom arrived a few days ago, a W-KING D8 is on the way and I also have a Soundcore Motion Plus for a year (which I am complitely trilled with, except for its lack of bass at higher level, this is why I am looking to step Up my game)

I also considered the minirigs a few years ago but there are few things I don't like about: 1) the Cable between the woofer and one of the Satellite, I'd rather have fully wireless speakers. 2) The form factor, cylinders are actually a quite bad space optimisation, espacially when you want to putt as much power as you can in a small volume like a backpack. 3) the price af course that is quite High. 4) the fact that we cannot clip the satellites on the woofer to make it one bloc for a more "on the go" experience in combination with the actual sound focused setup with a more spatial sound and better stéréo. I also heard about the LG PN7 (available on the Amazon UK store), what are your toughts about it? Thank you

You mean LG PN7? I haven’t heard it but all LG speakers so far were heavily disappointing. Despite their issues the Minirigs with sub are still the most powerful speaker system in this size and weight, nothing comes really close. And they are also quite audiophile regarding sound.

I am afraid I didn’t really save any setting. Just boost treble to your taste and bass a bit but I think it sounds fine with the default settings

Hi Oluv, yesterday I received FW Update 0.33 for my Motion Boom. Did you check it?

I have made further listening sessions. and my "final" equalization for the Motion Boom is this https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QKZcgq7UKAf-sg_8zQ_1mk6e2m6J5bnh/view?usp=sharing. Alan Ross made frequency measurement on the Motion Boom and I found some consistency between my EQ and the frequency response from Alan. The Motion boom has a down peak at 3 kHz which removes clarity and soundstage. I know that I am a "poor" subscriber but I would really appreciate what you think of this equalization.

I bought the Motion boom - it´s nice for the garden. But in your Video the Teufel seems to sound more detailed, more natural, just way better. Even the motion+ has it´s advantages over the boom (i own both)
