Unfortunately I am still having issues with some occasional static hiss for my outdoor recordings. I tried to apply some slight noise reduction to make it less apparent but the noise reduction effects were too noticeable during some parts, therefore I completely left it without any additional processing.

I couldn't figure out yet what is causing this HF static noise as it doesn't happen regularly. First I was sure it must have been related to the GoPro but in this case I used the DJI Pocket 2 so it must have been some interference from my iPhone. I assume it's related to Bluetooth or Bluetooth LE in some way. As soon as I put my phone farther away the hiss disappeared. Unfortunately I cannot do anything about it, as I need to boost high frequencies a lot in post processing when using my wind protection, this also increases all hidden static and hiss of course. I am sorry about this and will try to work on this issue more in future.

No problem oluv i've re wached the boombox 2 review and the same noise was there and that was like some time ago so maybe it is not an issue of your mics w interference n shit

this was when I started to use my wind protection, otherwise I couldn't have done many of my outdoor videos as wind noise would have been quite an issue. As it doesn't happen regularly, I still need to test more what exactly the reason is.

The Minirigs 2.1 setup is incredible because it’s about the same size and weight as the Xtreme 3 and this is much louder and powerful, it’s also more balanced without that weird treble boost I would definitely spend the extra money to buy the Minirigs over the Xtreme 3 which sounds like built in tv speakers compared. This comparison reminds me when you compared the Jbl Boombox against the Diamondboxx m1, the boombox sounded like a kitchen radio while the Diamondboxx was more HiFi, more full bodied and twice as loud for the same size, weight and similar speakers configuration

The minirigs are far superior here imo. midnight sky is a great track to judge the subbass performance and a nice song overall. I would suggest some paramore songs for the rock category. That is what i often listen to when judging a speaker.

Such Interesting acoustics like wow, and the minirigs shinned on here due to cause this nice dispersion and it's dynamics were better suited in here. The JBL really had nothing here even the lower bass pretty much disapeared due to being swalled with the enhance treble of the accoustics i w'd say. Hoping 2 see now the xb33, just a quick question will you be able to show it on max volume at least once, just to check it at full potencial.
