Anker SoundCore Motion+ EQ settings (Patreon)

Due to the high demand lately I wanted to post my EQ settings for the Anker SoundCore Motion+ again.

I can not recommend a single “perfect” setting, but I use the first one shown for the red unit and the second one for the black unit.

You can maybe use them as base for your own adjustments.

Gotta say the first combination on eq works really well for bbxes i tried on my dockin, with my phone built in eq(samsung btw) and just like you say about anker i am allways trying to improve it, but already hear a difference when it comes to remove unwanted peaks. Still now i prefer something more normal and fugoo might the way to go. Also, oluv i have a question does the fugoo distort on all kinds of tracks or on some kind of tracks or genres?

especially mids distort, or tracks that contain lots of bass will compromise mids. There is some slight distortion with most tracks, but some can cause really heavy issues making it unusable. It's mostly OK like 2-3 notches below maximum. I am not sure how the new Fugoo 2.0 compares though as it is claimed to be louder... I just tried contacting Fugoo, I hope they will respond.

Thank you - I wish I could save these both like on the neo - maybe a software update in future will help.

Hi, do you still recommend the motion+ as the best „Allrounder“? I still use a JBL Charge 2 (updated version) and I never found something better in terms of clarity and neutrality. I wonder if it’s worth the „upgrade“. For me the size and style of the flip 5 would be perfect but I fear I wouldn’t be happy with it.

The Motion+ plays in a completely other league than the Charge 2. Something smaller and cheaper I would recommend the Tribit MaxSound Plus, IMO much more natural sounding than the Flip series

I’ve tried so many EQ’s from other reviewers and I always come back to yours. Thank you so much for doing what you do! Edit: not sure if the latest firmware update changes the sound but you really know how to bring out the best in a product! Thx again!
