Yes I'm impressed with stockwell 2. If I remember did the original stockwell sound very bad?

Hey Olaf, findest du auch, das der UBoom bei z.b. Gesang etwas wenig mitten hat? Da finde ich sich selbst die StormBox Micro etwas besser

Here's a track that I love which I hope you can play in future. Alone with you by kraak and smaak (purple disco machine version) 👍

I still love my maxsound plus. It has a very non fatiguing but clear studio like sound at medium volume. I bought 7 of them for friends and family and they all like it a lot aswell.

I played a loop of this song in some of my older videos. but not sure if it was the disco machine version

ja die darf man nicht zu kritisch sehen, ist sicher nicht perfekt, es fehlt der etwas an oberbass, dafür klingt sie eben direkt am boden richtig voluminös.

Same here, best sound for my tastes. I own some Oluv's favourites: Anker Soundcore Nano, Xiaomi Mi 2, Marshall Stockwell II and Vifa Helsinki, all are great speakers and I enjoy all of them, but Tribit Maxsound Plus is the the best tunned in sound, in my opinion.

How does maxsound plus compare with Anker soundcore motion?

Anonymous

Anker has more power and gets louder. Soundwise I guess both are great

Anonymous

Yeah the motion plus is better at higher volume levels but needs some eq to sound great. The maxsound has a ruler flat response out of the box. I send my motion plus back because it had a rattle when playing bass notes.

yeah basically the problem of the emberton is the frequency response too much boost with slight peaks on treble and boosted upper bass, i think though if marshall or zound would fix this on an update then again we would have another great sounding speaker, as for now it's decent, not cheap thx to build and hardware quality.

oluvsgadgets

I told them immediately that reducing the strong upper bass it would make it sound much better, but their excuse was their “signature sound”

Yeah always the same execuse, well its their problem i am ok with stockwell ii here. As for now i will just hope they get to improve later on, becuz if they did with stockwell 2, then i believe in this one too, but in this case just sound.

Great video. Really helpful. I'm a bit disapointed by the Emberton now...but let's see how it sounds against the Minirig 3...I'm so curious about it. Once again, you did a great work here Oluv. Even after 7 years I follow you, there's still this "magic" to your videos. Respects for what you brings to us.

oluvsgadgets

I remember you since the Riva days haha. 7 years and still in search of the perfect speaker...

Good detailed video once again..wishing you good luck and great success in your new endeavor..

I totally agree that you get more value with the Stockwell 2 vs the Emberton but the Stockwell 2 is way too big to bring on certain trips. I'm looking for a great speaker that weighs 1kg or below. The best one I found so far is the Soundcore Motion +. The Denon Envaya 250 was awful for me but it could have been faulty in some way.
