Most of the work I did personally this week was on At the Mountains of Friendship, I did some last minute gameplay changes that I think were pretty good, got the last bits of character art in, and some more voice acting. But that's not all that happened this week, I have some fairly exciting Netoria news as well.

The big thing is a scheduling shift. I'm going on a short vacation at the start of September that means I will be away from my main computer at home. I have a little tablet that I can use to work on non-Unity stuff like Netoria and Naked Ambition and such though. In fact, I've released updates while away from home multiple times before. But I can't make AtMoF builds. So I'm worried that if I release the game before I leave, I won't be able to fix some important bug and the launch will be kind of ruined. 

Because of that, I'm sort of delaying it, but more swapping it with Netoria in the release slate. So this month the grope update will come out, with preview and test builds happening soon. This update has a good amount of new gropes, but is largely an art update. Featuring stuff like this:

People have been asking for it since the game came out and here it is. Grope art with Gwen actually in the art. This update will have the first batch of it, plus all new gropes for her actions as an Erotic Dancer and Whore class. More replacement art will come out in future updates as well. The old ones won't go away, but they'll be used for stuff with Carwyn and Vivian who the people in the art more closely resembles. 

The update also has a special level made to let you watch gropes more easily. You'll be able to get to it from the current recollection room. In there you can change conditions and relationships to your hearts content to see whatever in game groping action you want.

The other thing I want to talk about a bit is Futa Oasis. After .11 I said I was going to take the game behind the scenes and make an improved version for Steam. Well, to be honest I haven't been able to decide what that improved version will be. A better card game, no card game, polished up event system, ditch the random event system entirely to make more linear routes with more character growth, etc.

So I was thinking maybe just adding the endings in a .12 so the public version is actually a full game you can play through to the endings. I'm not sure a Steam version would really sell anyway, it seems to be the least popular of my games by a pretty wide margin.

And of course, can't forget about Naked Ambition. That update is pretty far away. I've done some structural work and laid some ground but it's going to be a bit I have to at least get AtMoF out and have some solid headway on the Netoria epilogues before I start seriously writing it.

So the new schedule looks something like this:

  • End of August: Netoria grope update
  • September 22nd (the Friday after I get back): At the Mountains of Friendship releases!
  • October: Netoria epilogues (hopefully)
  • December: Naked Ambition .9? Might be possible.

Well as a Netoria fan I can't say I dislike this course of action :D But I raise my drink up to ATMOF fans, your time comes soon.
