Ode to Mercedes (Poppin' Pin-Ups) (WIP01) 

I announced a while back that I would be doing some Fan Art of Albatross' OC Mercedes. This is the 1st WIP.☝🏽

As u can see above Mercedes is quite the hairy lady; I made sure to get her armpit hair in along with her signature top bun. There's obviously still quite a bit of rendering to do on this but I'm quite happy with the colour palette that I chose. Everything about the painting is a love letter to Albatross. For the most part she mainly uses one colour palette - its like a deep mud-purple / gray-blue type palette. I used it as a foundation and built in-top of it. I love Mercedes' dark skin complexion. She's like a Nubian-Trans GODDESS. 😍

U can expect the next WIP 2 drop on the 24th of August, 2020. 💜
