MA Art Style Preview: Charlotte! (Patreon)

If you're all caught up on the new style stuff going on for MA, then let's get right into it!

Today's preview showcases Charlotte, a mute girl who uses her notebook to communicate with others. She seems pretty normal enough despite this, but sometimes it's hard to gauge what she's really like or thinking.

We start with Charlotte's comparison from the old style into the new style! One big thing you might notice right away is that she had a upgrade done to her hair! Still in the same haircut style as before, just more detail to look nicer. ^^ Alongside this, her eyes and face area is the main focus point for changes. With the new style eyes, this is her default eyes and so there's some other eye expressions we'll see below.

The comparison pairs the exact same expressions side by side, trying to give you all the best idea of how it translates from the old to new style. Now, moving onto the fun part.. Her expressions!

22 expressions for Charlotte to be seen in-game! We did cut out her old "pout" expression since it wasn't much of a pouting face and we think we'll be able to get away with using other expressions for her. "horny" is a new one and some of the existing ones have been lightly touched up to fit her better, like her "annoyed" expression used to have a smirk and it kind of looked goofy. ^^"

It won't be long before we see her return to the game! I wonder what the first impression she'll leave everyone with?

Aaand that ends today's comparison and new style reveal for Charlotte! She already had all her other sprite needs done before this, so it's not as long as Rosa or Allie's recent previews showcasing new outfits.
